The staff were always very welcoming to us as family, and this made a big difference when dealing with an already stressful situation.
Thank you so much for your review, it was such a pleasure to see your mum improve and return home, we were all so pleased to see this outcome for her. We home to see you again soon if you would like to pop in for a coffee.
We visit regularly, often without any notice, and every time we have been reassured by the standard of care. Rhea and Julian, in particular, have been exceptional with Dad. They are consistently gentle, patient, respectful and genuinely caring. It is clear that their compassion is sincere and not simply because family members are present.
Caring for people with complex needs is not an easy job, but the whole team works incredibly hard and it shows. The residents appear happy, settled and well cared for, and there is always a warm and welcoming atmosphere whenever we visit.
Thank you to everyone at Caraway House for everything you continue to do for Dad.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience of our service and your lovely feedback of our team members. It is always a priviledge to support and care for people's loved ones and Dad is such a gentleman.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this positive review. We enjoyed getting to know you all and will miss seeing you on your daily visits, please feel free to pop in for a coffee.
The staff were particularly noteworthy. Without exception, they were courteous, professional, and genuinely attentive, taking time to engage with residents and ensuring that visitors also felt welcome and at ease. I also had the opportunity to meet the home manager, who presented as approachable, professional, and clearly committed to maintaining high standards of care and supporting both residents and staff.
I was also pleased to meet one of the housekeepers, who was friendly and clearly takes pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for the residents.
The home also offers a lovely garden area, which is well kept and provides a peaceful and pleasant space for residents and visitors to enjoy
Thank you very much for your feedback, I am so very pleased to hear about your postive experience visiting our home
Amazing caring staff, lovely food & accommodation. Mum is always happy & safe here.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. We always look forward to your mum coming for her holidays! and that she has such a good time.
Joan was very well cared for both physically & mentally. She was well fed & stimulated with wonderful activities. The medical care was outstanding.
Thank you so much for your review, it was such a pleasure getting to know Joan and you both.
We can recommend Caraway House care home with 100% assurance. We couldn't have wished for better care for my father. All the staff looked after our entire family beautifully. We looked at many homes before choosing Caraway House and its exceeded our expectations.
Thank you so much for your very kind reply. It means so much when we recieve positive reviews.
Caraway House accommodated my dad at very short notice and cared for him really well. We were very happy with the accommodation, care and every member of staff that we dealt with was lovely. They made us all very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to one and all!
Thank you for your very kind review. It was a pleasure supporting your father and getting you know you all as a family escpecially your mum. We hope to see you all again, do pop in for a coffee anytime.
My experience was certainly well above what I had expected. Excellent accommodation and cheerful and caring staff. Nothing was too much to make one feel completely 'at home'
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review of our service. It was a pleasure meeting you while you were having your respite stay.
Care and support could not have been better. Excellent activity programme throughout the week. All needs met and all requests met to make mum as comfortable as possible. Reception staff helpful and care staff cheerful and knowledgeable.
Would not hesitate to recommend.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We were so happy to be able to support you all at a diffcult time, it has been an absolute pleasure.
When my Dad first arrived, they had live singers, singing old classic songs. It was the first time my dad's eyes had lit up and he smiled for a very long time! We moved him from another nursing home and he is much happier and more communicative since he arrived here. They have so many activities and really engage with everyone.
Communication has been excellent and we are always kept informed. It's clear that the staff truly care about the wellbeing of the residents and they provide such a high level of care. There are so many amazing carers/nurses who go above and beyond!
Thank you to all of you at Caraway House, the managers, nurses, care staff, kitchen staff etc. I am so pleased my dad is here, safe, clean and very well cared for. After a bad experience at another home, we are very relieved and grateful that our Dad is thriving in your care!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this lovely reply. It has been such a pleasure in getting to know your father and see him improve and engage with staff and activities.
My parents moved into Caraway house under crisis conditions. The staff were all compassionate and caring, really going out of their way to make sure that my mother had the care she needed for what was ultimately a very short stay. Although we decided that my father would be happier elsewhere, it was not in any way due to the care and support he received and it is clear that Caraway House is an excellent choice for a wide range of care needs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for us at this very difficult time. It was such a shame we didnt get longer to know your parents and we very much wish your father all the best and hope he settles into his new home. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you all as a family.
Wife came in for 1 week respite care. Home very clean and excellent rooms. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was reported by my wife as good. I was completely confident that she was safe and in good hands. There were a couple of things that did not work too well, I was not informed that medicines could only be administered from marked packages, I was not told that I had to provide incontinence pads. When I did, they were not used as I had asked. On a few visits plates from previous meal had still been uncollected. Apart from these small points, staff all excellent. Good stay but expensive.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our service. We enjoyed having your wife stay with us. I am sorry that there were aspects of the stay or communication you were not satisfied with and we would have liked the opportunity to discuss these with you at the time, to ensure we could...
My brother has been in Caraway House for about 6-7 weeks. I feel he is in the best place for him, the staff are very patient and always ready to help whenever required. Reception area is very welcoming as well as the rest of the home. Caraway has a home from home feel and makes your visits very pleasurable and friendly place.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We want all our visitors to see Caraway as a second home and to always receive a warm welcome.
All the staff have been very helpful and very caring, they have answered all our questions and concerns. Caraway House Care Home is a 5 star residence. I am sure my sister will be very happy here.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are always on hand to support and provide reassurance where needed. Coming into a care home can be a difficult decision and transition so we aim to make this as easy as we can.
My friend came to Caraway after a fall at home, where he broke his arm. All the staff have been absolutely amazing. The staff have made him feel so welcome. The food is fantastic. They all go that extra mile to make sure not only my friend is ok but also his family & friends who come to visit. My friend is that happy here that he has decided to stay rather than going home.
Thank you for your kind review. We are so happy that he has settled in so well and is enjoying his stay, and that he has decided to stay with us permanently.
Caraway House has a great positive ethos and you really feel it when you visit. The staff are friendly and approachable and as a visitor I am always welcomed. My father is cared for well including nursing care and I know he is safe and eats well- the food is amazing. My father likes to laugh and joke around and he's still doing that! The building is designed well with plenty of shared spaces which are lovely. The management team are approachable, communicate well and are proactive to individual needs. This is a real community.
Thank you for your lovely review. Your father has settled in so well and we all enjoy his sense of humour and smile.
Caraway House exceeded my expectations of a care home. The care received was superb. Nothing was ever to much trouble, the nurses and care staff, receptionistist and cleaning staff were always very helpful. The food was lovely, and we were always welcomed kindly when visiting for lunch. Well done to all there.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is really important to the team to know they are doing such a great job. They are so passionate about what they do.
Very lucky to have this care home in Selsey. Having a person to entertain the residents all day is great; she does an amazing job. I know that my 2 special people are safe and happy.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We are so lucky to have such an amazing Lifestyle and Wellbeing lead, Treena is so passionate about her role and bringing a smile to everyone's face. I will pass on your feedback.
I have to say that Caraway has positively changed my impression of care homes. Dad was not too keen on the idea at first but, after experiencing such excellent care during respite, he soon changed his mind and wanted to stay. The friendliness of staff, the guaranteed warm welcome, the dignity and respect which they show to everyone and the positive ethos throughout make it a pleasure to visit and I know that Dad was really pleased to be there. The range of activities (all optional) is excellent and the way in which they involve everyone according to their preferences and abilities was great. It is always spotlessly clean and fresh, the food is excellent and I honestly couldn't have wished for a better experience for Dad. Thank you.
Thank you for your very kind review of our home. We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know your father, he was such a gentleman and he is very much missed.
