My mother spent the last 8 months of her life in Carlisle Court. She suffered from dementia which became progressively worse. During this time the staff of Carlisle Court supported her and the hole family. The level of professionalism, commitment, compassion and love showed by the staff, never ceased
to amaze me.
This was not just to my mother but to all the residents.
When our mother died recently the staff were there for us and supported us.
I can not express our thanks enough.

THANK YOU

PS if it was possible to give ten stars for the staff and manager I would

I can't thank the team at Carlisle Court Care Home enough for the incredible care they gave my mum. From the moment she arrived, we were made to feel welcome and supported. The staff are truly fantastic-compassionate, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and
well looked after.
The management team is outstanding, always approachable and clearly passionate about creating a safe and caring environment. The home itself is spotlessly clean, warm, and inviting, with a genuinely friendly atmosphere that made such a difference to my mum's well-being.
It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Carlisle Court isn't just a care home-it's a community. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent, compassionate care for their loved ones.

Leaving Mum in Respite was needed for myself as a full time career to recharge.
Mum has been to Carlisle court previously and this was mums second visit and was surprised at the changes more upbeat friendly, the manager made herself available at any time day or night this lady is on the Ball right
till the time Mum had to return home.
Thankyou AGreat team

Carlisle court is beautiful too look at but is not fit for purpose, there should be more money spent on staff who are qualified and care instead of furniture and decor..could not and would not ever recommend this service to anyone, was never so glad to get my father out of it.

This care home is 5 star. As a family, we were very nervous as we had never had a family member placed into residential care before. The staff are so welcoming and engaged. You are always fully filled in of any instances or situations that may arise straight away. The staff's compassion towards residents
shines through everyday and the care given is second to none. From the care assistants, care team leads and senior management everyone is polite, proactive and positive at all times.

Current Review Score: 7.9 (7.925)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.9 (7.925) out of 10 for Carlisle Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.7 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.217 for Carlisle Court is calculated as follows: ( (46 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) + (3 Poors x 2) + (9 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.217
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.708 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Carlisle Court is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 12 = 0.333
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
