My brother settled in to Castleford Lodge very well. His room is perfect for him, he likes the staff and always gets a big smile on his face when they enter the room, he likes to stay in bed, which the home is fine with. He receives excellent care and attention at all times. Overall, very pleased with his care. Many thanks.

Very happy with how Dave has been looked after by all the staff at Castleford Lodge. He seems settled and is healthy, we as a family are very grateful for all the care he is getting. He is allowed to live as normal a life as he is able and no concern with his welfare at all.

My partner has been with The Lodge for almost 2 and a half years. This care was 2nd to none with all staff being very friendly, helpful, and supportive. My partner passed away in early March and I can't praise the team highly enough for letting me know immediately how he was treated, with respect and tender loving care. Truly a fantastic team who do care,

Castleford Lodge Care Home offers a very friendly 'home from home' environment for my son. It enables him to be semi-independent within the home but also gives the security of having staff available at all times. I really appreciate the manager and staff who always do their best for my son and often go the extra mile for him in many different ways.

My husband sustained a brain injury 2 1/2 years ago and was allocated a place at the Lodge in late September this year. Sadly at this same time, he was diagnosed with oral cancer, the staff at the Lodge are without a doubt outstanding. They have put so much in place for him including having to take him to Cardiff every day for radiotherapy and ensuring he eats well to build himself up. For the first time, all this began I feel my husband is in safe hands and is happy there.

My brother has been a long term resident at The Lodge, during his time there his physical and mental well-being have improved. His mental health is fragile and the staff take great care to support him during low periods. The staff go over and above what is expected. Our mother recently declined in health due to dementia, The Lodge supported my brother at this time. When my mother passed away last year they arranged for two staff members to attend the funeral with my brother and looked after him at what was a desperately sad time.

I can't speak highly enough of the care he receives.

I have known and looked after the resident for more than thirty years until it was obvious that special care was required. My friend has benefited from the residency at Castleford Lodge immensely and continues to do so.

Well done all involved and much thanks for your professional and patient approach.
