I often visit my friend who is a permanent resident at Cotswold Gate, I am always made welcome by the staff. My friend is well looked after, and enjoys the activities, sometimes I join too. The singers are always good to watch.

I was given a recommendation to come to Cotswold Gate following a knee operation. Before my operation I visited and I knew immediately it would suit my needs. My family live in different areas of the UK, all have full time jobs and I didn't want them to be concerned about me after leaving the hospital. I haven't been disappointed.
I have an attractive room leading iinto a garden area, it's immaculate, beautifully appointed and decorated. From the minute I arrived I have received all the necessary care I need. The staff are hugely kind, patient, interesting, and nothing is too much trouble. I can ask for meals in my room or join others in the dining room.
There is a programme of activities which are voluntary. During my first weekend there was a delightful celebration barbecue held in the beautiful gardens, all enjoyed by the residents.

I cannot speak more highly of my experience. Thank you.

I am a regular visitor to Cotswold Gate Care Home as a friend is a resident. I am local so this can be at anytime during the day. No matter what time I arrive I am greeted by name and made to feel welcome.
The Home is beautifully decorated yet has a very homely feel.
My friend takes part in a number of activities every day which stretches her physically and mentally including baking and flower arranging which she thoroughly enjoys.
What is really nice is the inclusion of the Bistro where we can sit with a cuppa having a good natter, which quite often includes other residents or members of staff as they always interact as they pass through or pull up a chair for a longer chat. The staff always acknowledge the residents and visitors as they pass by.

The home is feels very secure and everyone is looked after in all aspects: care, activities, catering and socialising. I have no concerns about her whatsoever and would highly recommend.

We are very impressed with many aspects of the care home. The carers are exellent and go over and above their duties to help my brother with his mobility issues. The management are quick to identify his needs and act upon them. The food is literally hotel - quality.

Both my wife, family cannot express the appreciation we have for every member of staff, from 'soup to nuts' the care, reception and administration is perfect! One could not recommend a better establishment. The facilities are exceptional and one could not place their loved ones in a better environment.

First arrived and given a very warm welcome and a tour of the care home. We were very impressed initially in the booking system and welcome. Look of the home was superb particularly the facilities available. Furnishing and cleanliness of the home was absolutely first class. This is a wonderful facility for my Mum.
All of the staff, carers, managers, housekeeping, health care, activities , reception and volunteers have been caring, professional and above all else...kind.
The food is exceptional and the activities are varied, fun and well attended.
The cleanliness ,the laundry service and maintenance are all good.
The building, rooms and gardens are all of a very high standard and designed to accommodate the needs of the residents.
The management team are approachable, knowledgeable and experienced.

Lastly, the carers are always positive and patient....most go "above and beyond "to help the residents in any way they can.

An excellent care home. All staff are kind, compassionate & caring. Family well supported. Excellent activities. Food is of a good quality but needs to be adapted for age of residents e.g. shepherds pie (more old fashioned foods). I feel my parents are safe, secure & very well looked after. External GP always in a rush & not spending enough time with each person. Overall - Superb!

The continued care of my parents is exemplary at Cotswold Gate Care Home. The staff are the most amazingly friendly and caring team. They have gently encouraged my mother to engage more in activities that she does now every day. My father loves the cinema room and is found there most afternoons. More importantly they both feel safe, secure and know that there is always someone on hand. As my mum says 'we love it here'.

Dad was accepted as an emergency care on a Friday afternoon and the manager & clinical staff were amazing. They treated a very confused and poorly man with great care and dignity. Dad has now been here over 6 weeks and is settled in a lovely room near to carers desk. The activities team involve hun in lots of different things which helps him integrate. The care team are patient and always try to accommodate Dad's needs. Such a weight of my mind seeing him so well cared for.

My father was admitted to Cotswold Gate Care Home late as my mother who cares for him along with my husband and myself was having a total hip replacement. Respite for originally 2 weeks has been extended to just over 3. Dad has been cared for perfectly, the staff are all fantastic with such a warm, caring and professional way. I cannot fault anything and thank everyone for looking after our Dad so well.
