Hello, my name is Angelika, and I am the Home Manager here at Cotswold Gate Care Home.

I am an experienced CQC-registered care home manager with a strong sense of personal agency and a genuine passion for working with and supporting people. I am known for building competent, capable and values-driven teams, creating environments where individuals feel empowered to perform at their best and achieve success together.

I lead with clarity, fairness and accountability, fostering a culture that is supportive, professional and firmly rooted in person-centred care. I believe that high-quality outcomes are achieved through trust, continuous development and shared responsibility, and I take pride in developing teams that are confident, resilient and committed to excellence.

I live and work in the Cotswolds and value community, balance and wellbeing, and I am deeply committed to making sure people feel cared for, respected and supported so they may enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Outside of work, I am a keen runner, enjoying the discipline and headspace it brings.

Hello, my name is Claire, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Cotswold Gate Care Home.

I have a strong background in community and business development, and I am passionate about helping individuals feel informed and comfortable. I spend a lot of time building relationships with the local community and working closely with healthcare professionals, charities and organisations to ensure our residents feel supported, connected and at home.

I currently work across two Porthaven homes, supporting our residents and their loved ones. I enjoy being part of a team that puts our residents first.

Hello, my name is Louisiana, and I am the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator here at Cotswold Gate.

I have a Level 4 in Health and Social Care and have worked in a variety of care settings over the years. My previous roles include being a Team Manager in a children's residential home and a Team Leader in a care home. Both roles helped shape my compassionate and person-centred approach to care.

My current role as Activities Coordinator focuses on supporting the well-being of our residents by organising meaningful, enjoyable and inclusive activities that reflect their interests and life experiences. I am passionate about getting to know our residents as individuals and providing opportunities that bring them joy, connection and a sense of purpose. I enjoy working closely with our residents, their loved ones and my fellow team members to ensure Cotswold Gate is a warm and welcoming place for people to call home.

Hello, my name is Ilona, and I am the Head Chef here at Cotswold Gate.

I have been at Porthaven for 11 years. During that time, I have won Chef Champion at the prestigious NACC Awards, been crowned Best Care Chef in the UK and won the Porthaven Chef of the Year Competition.

I specialise in flavour development for individuals living with dementia, texture-modified diets (IDDSI) and 'Dining with Dignity'. I also provide training to other Porthaven chefs to ensure an exceptional dining experience and high-quality food in all our homes. It is important to me that our residents' lives don't lack in flavour.

Hello, my name is Debra, and I am the Home Administrator here at Cotswold Gate.

I have been a Home Administrator for Porthaven since 2018 and have recently transferred to Cotswold Gate. I am excited to see our home grow and meet all our new residents.

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I am the Home Trainer here at Cotswold Gate.

I have worked in the care sector for 31 years, and during that time, I have developed a real passion for supporting both residents and the teams who care for them.

I originally started my career with Porthaven in 2017 as a Residential Care Manager, and I have been a Home Trainer since 2023. I currently work both at Cotswold Gate and for our sister home, Thirlestaine Park in Cheltenham.

I use my experience to help build team member confidence, skills and understanding, so they can provide the highest standards of person-centred care. I believe that compassionate, well-trained team members are key to creating safe, happy and welcoming homes, and I take great pride in playing a part in ensuring our residents and their families feel supported, respected and reassured.
