My review is based on having 101 year old mother be in the Everseley home. The report I give is an honest opinion of myself and how the care team are looking after my mother having had a stroke.

We found this lovely nursing home when my dad was to be discharged from the hospital and required round-the-clock care. We have not been disappointed! Each and every member of staff have showed the utmost love and care and attention to my dad and his family. They are all angels! We are so happy in the
knowledge that our dad has all the loving care he needs and deserves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone. Our dad is safe and could not be better looked after.

From the moment my mother-in-law went in she has been wrapped in comfort and care. The team have gone out of their way to make her feel relaxed, safe, welcome and cared for. The home feels like a lovely luxury family-run hotel and we feel very happy that she's being so well cared for, as she deserves.
The place is beautifully appointed and supported by excellent, friendly and professional staff. My mother-in-law is so much happier here than home alone, and eating so well.

My mother was moved in to Eversley Lodge from a long period in hospital, from the moment mum walked through the door her care and wellbeing was so important to the staff it was amazing. It's like a 5 star hotel mum says and she still can't believe she's lucky enough to be here.
I can't thank all the
staff enough for caring for my queen and I'm 100 percent sure everyone will say this

I visited my friend in Eversley Lodge whilst she stayed for 2 months' respite care. I was shown around the facilities which were excellent. The nurse was patient and kind to her and attentive, and very respectful. All the staff, including the cook, maintenance guy and management were all friendly and
helpful, and if she needed anything she had a bell round her neck. I could certainly recommend Eversley Lodge.

Everything has been explained - all staff and other residents seem to be very happy. I have no doubts about this place at all. Nothing is too much trouble.
If different food is wanted, other than what is on the menu, it's not a problem.
Lovely temperature in the home. Great views from all areas.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.699)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.699) out of 10 for Eversley Lodge Nursing Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.947 for Eversley Lodge Nursing Home is calculated as follows: ( (90 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 95 Ratings = 4.947

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.752 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Eversley Lodge Nursing Home is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 42 registered maximum number of service users is 8.4. 8 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.4 = 0.952

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
