As an experienced and passionate healthcare leader with over 15 years in the care sector, I am delighted to be leading Gateford Lodge as Home Manager. My career has been dedicated to driving high standards of care, building strong teams, and fostering positive, transparent relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and regulators.

Throughout my career, I have successfully commissioned services, transformed underperforming homes, and built sustainable, high-performing teams. I believe that excellent care begins with a strong, supportive culture-one where staff feel valued, residents are empowered, and families are fully involved. I place great emphasis on community integration and believe that a care home should be a vibrant, welcoming part of its local area.

My vision for Gateford Lodge is clear: to create a warm, thriving home where residents feel satisfied, valued, and truly at home, supported by a compassionate and motivated team delivering outstanding care every day.

I have been working in the care sector since 1998. I began my career as an administrator and was promoted to Home Manager in 2000, a position I proudly held for many years.

I have always enjoyed being front of house. As a genuine people person, I love welcoming families, supporting residents, and ensuring that everyone receives the highest standard of service.

I am passionate about delivering excellent quality care and work closely with the Home Manager to help lead Gateford Lodge in becoming the best care home in the area.
