My mum was taken to this care home after being in hospital. We were so impressed by the level of care and dignity my mum received. They all go above and beyond.
The rooms are lovely and clean. The staff are amazing. Thank you all for caring for my mum so well.

Our mother was admitted into Hartshill Nursing and Care Home on an end of life pathway during June 2025. My sister and I are so grateful for the genuine warmth, care and attention that was given to mum during her final days. From the moment she arrived at the home from the hospital, the quality of care
was excellent and the support given was very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble and every staff member had an extremely professional caring attitude. The manager and staff were always approachable and helpful, and the liaison with the medical team was first class.
We will always be thankful for the way they cared for mum, treating her with respect and dignity until the very end. We have no hesitancy in recommending Hartshill Care Home based on our personal experience with them.

As a care home if the person's is on a normal diet and just need washing and help dressing it may be ok.
But as a nursing home, to me as an ex nurse the standards are poor.
My husband was in a lot of pain and it took 2 weeks to get medication and only when I said get the out of hours doctor was it
done. Urine test took over a week. And level 6 diet took at least 3 weeks for it to be sorted and lots of care staff still got it wrong.

This care home is brilliant, the staff, nurses and other workers are fantastic. They take special care of our sister and are always kind and thoughtful. We are in awe of their strength of mind and how they cope with physical or mental abuse from their patients. Yes, training and learning how to work
in such a difficult environment on a day to day basis, but experience can be frighting and it blows my mind how they can cope mentally aswell. Please know that they are mandatory angels to us. They are not paid enough to endure the things that happen to them daily.

Mum has been a resident now for approximately 12 months, she is happy, content, safe and feels well cared for.
The management and staff are very open, friendly and happy to discuss Mum's needs and adapt to her varying needs.
Mum has her own room which includes some of her own furniture and personal
things which makes it very homely.
Mum's favourite place is the lounge where she can come and go as she pleases and meal times in the restaurant where she enjoys the food and company.
I find the the staff very good and caring including the domestic and maintenance staff.
I would like to especially mention the section manager, the staff in activities and the one in nursing, all of whom I have had personal help and assistance from over the last 12 months.

I would like to say how happy I am to see my wife so well cared for. The staff from senior management to careers, nurses, and domestic staff are all in my opinion excellent. Knowing my wife is happy and well cared for is really satisfying to me. Everyone gives 100 per cent to their jobs. Would highly
recommend Hartshill to anybody.

I would highly recommend.
My mum was looked after at Hartshill Care Home during the last week of her life, the professionalism, care, compassion and love shown to Mum by all the staff was amazing. It was as though they had known her for years. It meant so much to all her family and made a difficult

Overall, we, as a family, are very happy with the care that my mother is receiving from Hartshill Care Home. She has stelled very well and is as happy as she could possibly be considering the situation. She is a very popular resident and is loved by all the team. We know that she is in very good hands,

Fantastic care home. Friendly and attentive staff. All residents appeared happy and well cared for. I came to the Christmas Party, and it was superb - great buffet, great musicians, everyone had a great time.

I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to the all staff at the home for the care given to my friend, who has sadly passed away in the care home. They were very kind and professional and treated her with dignity, and the staff have become like my second family. I will be forever grateful to all of

My wife was placed with Hartshill Care Home for a period of two months as a halfway house after her stay in the hospital.
The most obliging, courteous, knowledgeable and likeable staff coped with her volatile nature admirably with obvious affection. As a new enterprise the 'home' appeared to manage
the mixture of residents capably and fairly. An ideal place for most of those individuals in need, especially with its 'open house' strategy.

Mum was taken to Hartshill Care Home from hospital for rehab and assessment. First impression was that it was a peaceful environment and very welcoming. After a three-week stay, it was decided that Mum would become a permanent resident at the home. I was confident that Mum would be well looked after
and cared for. All staff are very caring, attentive and treat all residents with dignity and respect. Management have also been very helpful and supportive through this transition. Thank you to all management and staff.

Hartshill Care Home is an immaculately clean modern spacious care home overlooking beautiful countryside. The rooms are spacious and bright with lovely views. Dad who has vascular dementia walked in, sat in the lovely lounge and was instantly made to feel at home. The staff were very attentive, caring
and reassuring. In fact at dad's beck and call! He was given a menu on his arrival and staff helped him choose his dinner from a range of scrumptious meals. As we left dad was all smiles talking to the ladies and looked so comfortable that we felt reassured for the two weeks' respite he would be well cared for. The manager was equally caring assuring and informative to us. On arriving today to collect dad, he was immaculately dressed and cleanly shaven and had been playing dominoes with the staff! He didn't seem in any hurry to leave! We have complete and total trust in Hartshill Care Home and its staff. The care and respect shown to dad was truly exceptional.
