My wife arrived in an agitated, confused mental state. However, after a few days of authentic care and attention, her state of mind became calm and receptive to rational conversation. During the duration of her "respite care" stay, the staff continued to show concerned compassion.

My father appears more relaxed and settled now in his new environment thanks to all the personal care from the staff and I feel very reassured by this. I feel he is receiving the best possible care for this stage of his life.

My Husbabd is receiving the best care. Nothing is too much trouble they have time to care him properly. I always find him clean ,comfortable. Well fed. and treated with respect . . Its great because i dont have to worry about him.

Having been unwell myself, I haven't been able to visit much. I needn't have worried, she hardly noticed...which is a good thing.

Nothing is ever too much trouble. Having her leading the team makes the whole experience (sometimes very difficult) more manageable.

Mum has been here since May 2021. I live abroad now and each time I visit the UK I see mum It's hard but knowing she is at MCH where there is care I feel a release. I am grateful for the support she is given Keep up the good work.

Great staff who are very caring and take good care of our mum. Their understanding of Dementia care is commendable, the team are very thorough and keep us fully up to date on day to day matters. Would definitely recommend.

Hartshill care home excellent staff and management nothing too much trouble. Kept well informed of any changes. Activities for residents good.cleanlines very good .meals for residents excellent. Would highly recommend this care home .

Very happy with the transition into care. My relative has been treated with respect and dignity and is very happy with the care they are receiving. The rooms are large and bright and the home itself is situated in a lovely countryside setting. The staff are all very cheerful and caring. It has made life easier for us at a very difficult and stressful time.

My mum was admitted to the care home for end of life care from the hospital. From the outset, the care was exceptional, staff took the time to listen to what we told them about mum and her preferences, nothing was too much trouble. The professionalism and care that was shown to us as a family on the day mum passed went above and beyond what I expected. Special mention to the manager Sarah, Deputy Sandra, unit manager Millie, lead nurse Alex, SCA Lily and carer Joseph who were all so kind through a very difficult time for us all, and to all the other staff who showed such kindness and compassion to my mum and to us as a family during her last few days. Thank you all and keep up the excellent work!

I can only give praise to Hartshill Care Home. The care, dignity and compassion they showed my grandmother in her final weeks were amazing and there isn't a single member of staff that comes to mind to say anything negative of them. They were always friendly to us and showed rapport with my grandmother, in different ways for different people, which had that personal touch. Every level of staff were just great. The carers seemed to actually care, the cleaning staff were efficient, the seniors made themselves available to discuss things as needed, the office staff were a friendly, nurses were competent, the management were present and even the visiting professionals, like the doctor and the ANP put our minds at ease that our grandmother was in the best place in the circumstances. They encouraged her to be as sociable as she could be, were experienced to help during her unsettled moments and were sensitive and delicate in those final days, both to her and to us as a family. Thank you all!

My mum, moved to Hartshill on an end of life path way. This was such a struggle for my mum and our whole family. The staff at the care home helped us in every which way possible. The kindness and care that was provided not only to mum but to us too. My dad felt that if he went home he would be letting our mum down, for the last few days before mum sadly passed, dad stayed at the care home with mum. The staff provided comfort, food and drinks. Dad said this helped him come to terms with mum passing. Our whole family would like to give a special mention to Nurse Alex, the care you provided will stay with our family forever.

Since before my dad even arrived Trish was doing everything she could to help facilitate my dads move to the care home. Having worked in care myself I was blown away by the quality of care given to the patients. Staff are incredibly caring but always seem happy and not over stretched. They really pay attention to thr details of who my dad is and make time to get to know him. It is clearly well run as staff from all departments seem happy to be at work and very positive in every interaction. I was so worried when my dad went into a care home, but from day one I have been able to sleep better at night, knowing he is there.

My uncle has lived in Burlington Court for a number of years and I'm overall very pleased with his care. It's good to know he is always clean and well looked after. He has good relationships with his carers who treat him kindly and with dignity. It's nice to see his face light up and smile when any of the carers come into his room. I'm pleased with the medical attention he gets -- prior to being here he suffered with frequent UTIs -- at Burlington I think he's only had one which is a good result and I see as a measure of the care he's given. The food always seems nice and fresh - just a pity his appetite seems to have gone. As I live a long way away it's good to know he's well cared for. The facilities and activities are sufficient for his needs - just a pity he won't get more involved.

Visited at the weekend to see my Cousin, who has been a resident at Hartshill Care Home for the 7 months.

He has dementia and he doesn't always remember me. The attentive staff were so caring and kind. They introduced me to him as a friend so as not to overwhelm him which I thought was a great idea. Within 10 minutes my Cousin looked at me, laughed and remembered me which was such an incredible moment.

As for the staff and the home overall. Every time that I visit, the home is always clean, everything is well presented and I always notice how residents seemed so engaged with the team of attentive staff.

I would unreservedly recommend Hartshill Care Home to anyone looking to place their loved ones within the care of such a brilliantly run care home, for complete peace of mind.

My father spent the last 3 weeks of his life here. I could not fault the care given to him. Everyone was so kind, caring, thoughtful and treated us both with consideration & dignity. It made a difficult time so much easier to bear, knowing that my father was in the right place for him. He had complex care needs and I'm so glad that I found Burlington Court.
