A very pleasant visit staff were very friendly and professional. My sister in law was very comfortable and content. All the other residents seemed very happy, and the lounge had a friendly vibe.

My wife and I are in our 80's and have visited many Care Homes to see relatives and friends over recent years.
None of these homes have not come up the exceptional standard of cleanliness and care that we have seen at Hazel Lodge.
Our aunt who will be 100 in Nov this year had tried to maintain her
independence in her own home until she suffering a recent fall. She is now thoroughly enjoying all the care and activities that Hazel Lodge provides.
She has admitted that she wishes she had decided much earlier.
We have witnessed some of the activities that have been provide for the residents and what struck us the most is the care and dedication to all the residents regardless of their problems.
We have come away from the home feeling that we have been privileged to be part of a big happy family.
All staff and management are cheerful, considerate and welcoming to us.

Hazel Lodge care home has been caring for my brother since February 2023, firstly as respite care but unfortunately now as palliative/end-of-life care. After a lengthily spell in hospital he was very pleased to return to the care and attention the home gives. Friendly staff and attentive who have made
his days certainly more comfortable and pleasant. All staff very helpful, the advantage of being a small care home. No hesitation in recommending Hazel Lodge.

Brilliant care home, wonderful staff who care for the residents and families of the residents, very supportive, listen to any concerns and action anything quickly, it is always clean and tidy and food is always good. The carers and management team are outstanding.

My daughter has been very well looked after at Hazel Lodge. She is well cared for, always clean and wearing clean clothes. Any shortcomings are rectified immediately. Overall unable to fault the service afforded to my daughter.

Hazel Lodge does a fantastic job of caring for my mum, the staff are attentive and friendly to not only the residents but all visitors to the home. My mum refers to the staff as her friends which is comforting to hear.

I visited my aunty at Hazel Lodge, she suffered a severe stroke over 2 years ago. I live in Australia and haven't seen her since the stroke. At Hazel Lodge, she receives excellent care, is made to feel very special, treated with respect and dignity.
The staff are all kind and caring with attention
to detail, the environment is lovely and stimulating. Beautiful gardens and a saxophone player entertained today before lunch. Thank you.

My partner has been in Hazel Lodge for a month now. She has last-stage dementia (Alzheimer's/vascular) and is also a lifelong type 1 diabetic. I chose this home as it was recommended to me and owned by Island Healthcare Ltd. My partner is very well looked after and cared for. She receives a quality
of life and dignity which one would expect at this time.
The place is well-kept and well-staffed. I could not have chosen a better place for my partner.

My uncle and our family have had the most amazing care from every single member of staff. Hazel Lodge runs a fine star 'tight ship' where nothing is too much trouble. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their care. Caring, compassionate, professional, highly skilled, knowledgable care. In a tranquil,
clean setting. I don't know what we would have done without them.

The care that my mum has had from the staff at this home is excellent, she is very content and happy.
They treat her as part of the big family and also treat us as part of the family too.
It is always clean and tidy but not so clinical that you feel your in a hospital they have it just right.
The
lounge and outside patio area is lovely and you can see the hard work the staff have put in to make it lovely for the residents.
