Recovering from an operation is a particular kind of stay, and it's good to know the three weeks with us felt as comfortable and well looked-after as you describe. Our chefs put real thought into the choice and the presentation at every meal, so that will mean a lot to them. What a delightful afternoon at Hindhead Place yesterday! It was so lovely to see all of the residents together in the cafe enjoying cake and Prosecco to celebrate a birthday. As usual Ros came up trumps with a great quiz. Mum was engrossed. Such a good atmosphere.

Each time I visit my aunt I am struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere and how well the staff know her. I love the family feel and gentle approach that staff have. My son played the piano for residents on one afternoon and it was wonderful. We all felt connected and part of a wider community. It was just how an afternoon visiting a treasured aunt should be. As a trained nurse I have been supporting many care services in strengths based practice and person centred care for many years. This approach oozes from every corner of Hindhead Place and it is a perfect home for my aunt to enjoy her later life. Thank you for that and looking forward to the Christmas party!

We had to move our relative in a hurry, due to the onset of dementia. The home coped so well, welcoming her and making every possible effort to settle her in. It is a beautiful home, and the food is exceptionally good! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - highly!

The personalised care approach has made all the difference. Rather than a 'one size fits all' solution, they've gotten to know my dad and adapted their care to suit him specifically. The staff are genuinely approachable and I always feel I can talk to them whenever I need to, whether it's a concern or just to check in. To have peace of mind knowing that they will do everything to make the resident feel at home and part of a family means so much to the family and friends.

The brand new building has been beautifully appointed and, whilst being homely, really has that smart hotel feel that reassures you that your loved ones are somewhere truly special
