Having worked as a registered home manager for two decades, Claire takes great pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Recently employed as the administrator at Kings Hill Care Home, I am looking forward to the home opening and assisting with the smooth running of the home and being part of a busy, caring, and people-focused environment.

Before joining Kings Hill Care Home, I spent over eight years working for a local independent care home. I began as a part-time administrator while my children were at school and later progressed to the role of Home Administrator.

Earlier in my career, before having my children, I worked as a payroll officer for an advertising agency in London.

I find my role both challenging and rewarding, with every day bringing something different. I especially value the opportunity to interact with residents, their families, and our staff.

In February 2024, I was proud to pass my Level 2 qualification in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our three dogs. My daughter also has a horse, and we enjoy supporting her at showjumping events. I also enjoy fitness classes and spending time with my friends

My name is Clive. I'm the Head chef at Kings Hill Care home. I have worked in hospitality for 40 years and mostly in the care sector.

I have worked in a variety of settings, from hotel-style care homes to assisted living communities, catering for a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.

I love creating special events, from elegant black-tie dinners to summer BBQs and high-end buffet experiences. No matter the occasion, I enjoy bringing people together through great food.

I hold City & Guilds 701/702 qualifications in Catering, as well as an ILM Management qualification, which has supported me throughout my career in kitchen management and leadership.

My favourite style of cooking is traditional British cuisine with a fine dining twist. I believe that familiar, comforting dishes can be made extra special with a little creativity and attention to detail.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is spending time with residents, hearing their life stories and learning about their favourite foods and cherished memories. These conversations often inspire the menus and dishes we create.

Residents can always expect delicious, flavourful meals, along with plenty of homemade cakes, pastries and treats fresh from the kitchen.

A fun fact about me: At home, I'm known as the "Cat Dad" to my three cats! I also enjoy cross-country walking with my family and have completed some fantastic routes, including the walk from Eastbourne to Hastings. Read less

My name is Will, and I am the Head of Hospitality at Kings Hill Care Home. I have the absolute pleasure of leading a talented, passionate and dedicated team, delivering a truly unique and personal dining experience for our residents.

Originally from London, I moved around a few times before settling in Kent. I met my partner while living in Medway, and together we made our home in Maidstone, where we welcomed our first child.

My first role was as a support worker, where I developed many valuable skills and discovered my passion for caring for others. This led me into hospitality, where I learned how to prepare great-tasting food on a large scale while never losing the caring approach that has always been at the heart of who I am. That journey has ultimately brought me to Lovett Care.

I am passionate about providing high-quality care, and for me, that starts with food. What we eat is deeply personal, and I believe that when residents can enjoy delicious, nutritious meals that they genuinely look forward to, it enhances every aspect of their well-being.

My name is Louise, and I am the Head Housekeeper at Kings Hill Care Home.

I have worked in healthcare for around 15 years in a variety of roles. During that time, I developed a wealth of skills and experience, and I wanted to use that knowledge in a different direction while continuing to provide the highest standard of person-centred care and support for our residents.

Before working in care, I had a background in retail, which gave me a strong focus on customer service and working closely with people. I've always been passionate about helping others and enjoy the diversity and individuality that each person brings, both within a team and within a home environment.

I am committed to creating a sense of home, comfort and belonging throughout Kings Hill. I take great pride in helping to create an environment that feels warm, welcoming and inviting, where residents can relax, feel at ease and truly be themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy writing, being creative and discovering new things. I recently came across the Japanese concept of Ikigai (pronounced ee-key-guy), which loosely translates to "a reason for being." I love the idea that purpose and happiness can often be found in life's simple pleasures, whether that's spending time with friends and family, sharing an interest with others, or enjoying a peaceful walk in the garden. Read less

I am the Wellbeing Coordinator at Kings Hill Care Home. Before joining Kings Hill, I worked as a lifestyle coordinator in another care home and previously in a primary school, where I specialised in supporting children with Special Educational Needs ( SEN)

I love working in activities because no two days are ever the same. I enjoy bringing happiness, comfort and meaningful experiences to residents, helping to create a warm, homely environment during this important chapter in their lives. It is a privilege to support both residents and their families, sharing laughter, making memories and ensuring every day is filled with moments of joy.
