I would highly recommend Hallmark Care Home Esher to anyone looking for a caring, welcoming and supportive home for their loved one. My grandad was a resident there and we were incredibly impressed with the quality of care he received.
The staff were all so lovely, compassionate and attentive, always making an effort to interact with everyone. This created such a warm and friendly atmosphere and truly made it feel like a family away from family. We always felt confident that my grandad was safe, comfortable and treated with dignity and respect.
The safeguarding, activities, hospitality and food were all fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make residents feel included, valued and well cared for.
Most importantly, my grandad felt so comfortable there and spoke very highly of the home and everyone who cared for him. The support he received genuinely helped him recover, regain his confidence and get back on his feet.
We are so grateful to the entire team at Hallmark
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful and heartfelt review of your grandad's stay with us. We are so pleased to hear how he felt so comfortable and well cared for during his stay and the improvement in his health and mobility from when he arrived to when he returned home...
My nan stayed at this lovely care home to recover after her hip operation. She enjoyed it so much, she extended her stay. Her room was lovely and relaxing, the staff were on hand to help with everything she needed and the food was excellent. We loved going to visit as the building and gardens are so beautiful. She is now back home and well recovered!
We really appreciate you taking the time to write about your family's experience and it is heart-warming to hear such positive feedback. We very much enjoyed playing a part in your nan's recovery and we hope she may come to stay with us again in the future!
I needn't have worried about Mum needing a few weeks respite care. She was warmly welcomed, very well supported and encouraged to integrate with activities. The staff were friendly and attentive. She loves her food and was complementary about the restaurant. We would not hesitate in using respite again in the future.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are very pleased to hear that your mum felt safe, supported and welcomed and we in turn very much enjoyed her company! Looking forward to seeing you both hopefully in the near future.
My grandma stayed at Esher Residences to recover after her surgery. I loved going to visit her as the staff were so friendly and the building and gardens are really stunning. The chocolate brownies were fantastic too but the best bit was seeing how much better my grandma got during her stay. Thank you for looking after her so well.
Thank you so much for writing a review for us, all the team really appreciate it. We love to welcome family, friends and pets to visit our residents and we are so glad to hear that you enjoyed coming to visit. Your grandma was an absolute delight and to see the improvement in her health and mobility from the beginning to the end of her stay was wonderful.
The previous owners & Hallmark care homes - experts with the elderly, & the most vulnerable. Thereby their values & conduct should be beyond reproach to reflect their responsibility. 12 weeks into my mother (who has dementia) Day Club Membership - the previous owners sell out to Hallmark with ZERO notice to residents or Day Club Members. I received an email at 12.49 pm informing me as from that day the Day Club was closed (my Mum was at the Day Club!). I'm now between two feuding care companies, requesting a refund on her 12 month membership. It appears responsibility lies with the previous owners, but this matter should have been resolved before any sale was agreed. The previous owners offered respite care with this membership - our summer plans, to send my Mum to respite care, whilst we went away on a family holiday resulted in us having to cancel our planned vacation. This is no reflection on the staff but the organisation. I find it astounding that neither company have a conscience over their actions and the impact on families
We are very sorry for the inconvenience this situation has caused you and your family.
As the payment was made to the previous operator, the refund will need to be processed by them. We appreciate your concerns and have requested that the matter is resolved by the previous operator as quickly as possible.
Kind regards,Pinky Ibarrientos,
General Manager
The surroundings are beautiful: it feels like a luxury hotel with carers on site. The extensive grounds are a real bonus, and the various lounges are all very comfortable. When I have visited for lunch, the food was excellent and it felt as though we were in a restaurant rather than a care home.
If you are looking for a permanent residential home for a member of your family, I can thoroughly recommend Loveday Esher.
Thank you so much for putting into words the difference that Loveday has made for your sister! She is an absolute delight and brightens up all of our days with her infectious smile, witty sense of humour and fabulous wardrobe! We are also delighted to hear that you thoroughly enjoy your visits to us and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Thank you, you made my life and my families life a little easier.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your father has settled in so well and that the team have made him feel so welcome.
Your kind words about our nurses, care team and wider colleagues mean a great deal, and we will be sure to share them...
Our mother immediately felt assured and that she was in the best place possible, for her recovery.
Every single member of their staff were so kind, attentive, very caring and knowledgable. We genuinely couldn't fault anything about her fantastic stay there.
Since leaving and now back at home, she has become a day member at Loveday in view to visiting regularly, joining in with their extensive, social activities and to keep in touch with many friends she has made there.
I would highly recommend Loveday Esher to everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words, our team really appreciate you taking the time to write your review. Your mum was an absolute delight during her stay with us and we missed her very much when she returned home. Becoming a day member means she can visit us regularly and catch up with the friends she made here, which is so lovely.
Surrounded by the sculptured grounds and rosemary and dill. And evermore, just at the core, the care and
love along the path of life's recovery.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and for sharing your beautiful poem with the wider community! We absolutely loved having you stay with us and it was a pleasure to see your recovery improve day by day. We look forward to seeing you for a visit some day soon!
Five weeks in, and my dad is a changed man. From the moment he moved into Loveday it was clear we had made the right call, he's happier, healthier, and looking forward to every day. Loveday doesn't just feel like a care home, it feels like a home. Beautiful rooms and interiors, exquisite grounds, and an atmosphere that's always warm rather than institutional. Dad can't stop talking about the food, he is genuinely excited about the regular concerts and keep-fit sessions - he has got a life again. What sets Loveday apart is the quality of care. The nursing and care staff are exceptional; attentive, compassionate, and brilliant at reading what Dad needs, even on the harder days. Nothing is generic. Everything is tailored to him as an individual, I can't recommend Loveday enough. The regular email and phone updates mean I always know how he is doing. That piece of mind is genuinely priceless and visiting him is always a pleasure.
Thank you so much for writing such a detailed, warm and heart-felt review, we will share it with the whole team at Loveday Esher and I am sure it will brighten everyone's day! Your dad has settled in so wonderfully, we very much enjoy his stories and his enthusiasm for the people he meets and experiences he enjoys. Thank you for trusting us with caring for your dad.
The place is great, top quality, well designed with plenty of communual spaces, dining rooms, large outside terraces, bar area. The food and dinning service is more like a restaurant with attentive waiters.
Dad looks well as his care and medical needs are dealt with. Thanks to Janice and the staff for arranging the move at short notice and keeping the family up to date on our Dad.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a warm and detailed review, it is much appreciated. We are delighted to have your dad with us, he has settled in so well and lights up our days with his witty humour and love of colour. We look forward to spending time with your dad and his extended family.
The staff are excellent and extremely courteous. The activities are varied and help to bond with the other residents.
There is nothing bad to say about the Esher location and I am convinced they will continue to prosper.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We truly appreciate your feedback and the trust you've placed in us at Loveday Esher. We always strive to go above and beyond in delivering exceptional care and hospitality, so it's wonderful to hear that our efforts are appreciated. We're also grateful for...
Thank you to the team who took care of my father during his stay, they were very attentive to his needs, made him feel comfortable and part of the group. His mental and physical health improved whilst he was there which is a sign of the supportive care he received, the activities organised and the positive environment in the home. The staff are responsive and helpful. The property is light, clean and warm. My father appreciated the tasty, varied and healthy food. he also enjoyed the interesting and varied activities.
It was a pleasure to support your father and to see the improvement during his stay with us. We are pleased you saw and felt it too. We look forward to welcoming him again soon.
I am more independent than most members staying. My stay has only been respite for 15 days. Staff are exceptionally calm, caring and patient. Very obliging. Food has been excellent.
Thank you for trusting us with your respite, we loved having you stay with us. Your kind words have been shared with the wider team.
I stayed at the Loveday Esher 1150 Club for 5 days following my total knee replacement at RNOH. The accommodation was excellent in beautiful grounds. The nurses and staff were attentive, friendly and professional - always going out of their way to help. The physiotherapy was very helpful and the equipment of the first order, including a hydrotherapy treadmill. Oh - and the food was excellent - either in your room or the restaurant. I would strongly recommend the 1150 Club for post-operative support
Thank you for trusting us in supporting your recovery journey. We are delighted to hear how pleased you were with your stay. Thank you for recommending us highly. We all hope you are continuing to recover well at home.
Medication management, daily injections to prevent blood clots, and careful monitoring of vital signs to assess changes in health status and detect potential medical issues were all handled seamlessly. This gave me complete confidence that I was receiving the highest standard of care.
My post-surgery recovery from major surgery was not straightforward. Without medical knowledge, it would have been very difficult, if not impossible to return directly home from hospital and manage catheter care, fluid intake, and overall recovery with no prior experience. The professional nursing staff were instrumental in identifying an early infection, which was successfully treated within 24 hours. Without their expertise, I would almost certainly have needed to attend A&E at the Royal Surrey.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on your recent stay with us. It was our pleasure to support you and we are delighted to read how pleased you were, in particular with our exceptional care. Recovery can be equally as important as the surgery and we are pleased you trusted us to take care of you.

We're so...
However, I have yet to mention the best asset of the home, above everything else the most impressive thing about Loveday Esher, without any doubt is the quality of the staff!!!! Every single one there has one goal, to give the residents the best care they possible can! A ridiculous elevated level of professionalism runs through every single employee there. A special mention about the carers, they go far and above to make my mother happy, THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a kind review. It really does mean a lot to all of us here at Loveday Esher.
It's been a pleasure supporting your mum following her heart procedures, and we're so pleased to see her continuing to make good progress. She's settled in...
Loveday is everything we were looking for - immaculate living spaces, unbelievably good care, wonderful activities and superb food!
We feel very lucky to have found Loveday for our mum and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a care home - it has to be the best there is!
Thank you so much for your lovely message. We absolutely love having your mum with us at Loveday. As one of our Founder Members, she's been part of the heart of our community from the beginning, and the kindness and warmth she brings, She's always so welcoming to new Members, and it's clear how...
I could not have been happier with the service he enjoyed, and everyone who visited him whilst he was there and I was away said how happy, young and energised he seemed to be from his change of scene.
Food sounds to have been fantastic and the care and attention of the staff surpassed my expectations - they even accompanied him to his GP for a routine appointment.
Dad made friends while he stayed at Love Day and even (to my great surprise) attended (and lived) Pilates classes and even a Ti Stan sound bath which he found a novel experience and very relaxing.
The tensely has been furnished in impeccable, luxury taste and looks more like a 6 star hotel than a care home. Lovely gardens too, and even a children's play area for my 4 year old niece.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure looking after your dad while you were away. He settled in beautifully and brought such a warm and positive energy to the residence. We weren't at all surprised that he quickly made friends and got involved in activities like...
