Overall Experience

I recently visited a friend at Maris View for the first time, and not knowing what to expect, I was truly impressed. Maris View sets a remarkable standard for compassionate, person-centred care. During my visit, I saw just how attentive the team were to all the residents, taking the time to chat with them and make sure their needs were met. The environment and facilities are exceptional, with a calm, homely feel throughout.

My mother has been a resident for approx 2 months following the death of her husband. The care home is excellent. The carers and all staff are excellent. Professional, caring and friendly. They all treat the residents with dignity and respect and nothing is too much for them. The manahement team always have time to speak to relatives and residents alike.

The cleanliness of the home is excellent and the food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend Maris View. Thank you everyone for the care given to my mother.

Dad moved here at the beginning of May and we cannot commend each and every member of staff enough. They go above and beyond to give Dad outstanding care and support, nothing is too much trouble and the reassurance that our Dad is safe and being well cared for means so much to us as a family. Time is spent with residents getting to know their likes, dislikes and personal background history so it feels like Dad is part of the Maris View family rather than just a resident.
The setting is lovely, Dad has a beautiful room with a lovely outlook and the food is outstanding. Cannot recommend enough.

Thank you to each and every one of the team.

I came to visit mum for the first time since she arrived with my sister, and she looked so well, happy and full of life. This was great to see, as at the previous care home she seemed to be lonely in her room every time I went; it was great to see her part of the community in the lounge. All the staff were welcoming and warm, and they introduced themselves to me. I was offered refreshments and made very welcome. The home itself is outstanding.

The welcome and care my husband receives in Maris View is excellent. All the Staff I have met are remarkably kind and very patient with their residents and visiting family members who so often need support too.

My husband's bedroom is perfect for his needs and all the communal areas are just lovely and so well designed. He is relaxed and I feel that he could not be better cared for anywhere else.
