Maris View

My dad became a resident at Maris View in July this year. From the time we identified the home the staff made the difficult transition from hospital to home as easy as possible. Once in the home, and understanding dad isn't the easiest resident, the staff have made him feel so welcome, they have made both my mum and myself so welcome also. The professionalism of all the staff is just brilliant. It is clear the home is very well run from senior managers to the cleaners. Both my mum and I are so very grateful to all the staff for the way they look after dad.

Mum went to Mais View for a second period of respite care following an exceptionally good experience there in June. Unfortunately, whilst at MV she had a flare up of an underlying condition and became very unwell. The staff at the Care Home were absolutely superb - and as a family we feel she may not have survived without their unwavering diligence and care. We cannot speak highly enough of them - and will always be overwhelmingly grateful for the wonderful support they gave not just to Mum, but to the family as a whole. Thank you all so very much.

Mum has been at Maris View since April this year and it has been a welcome relief to us all as a family knowing she is well cared for, as her dementia progresses her needs are met with dignity and care, the environment is calm and pleasant for family visits

From the moment we booked to visit which was on a Saturday afternoon and Adam very kindly stayed beyond his shift to show us around we immediately received a very welcoming loving professional and caring perception of this most excellent care home. This continued afterwards with a smooth administration process prior to my mother's visit. My mother stayed for two weeks respite and from the day of arrival she was in incredibly well looked after. Her room was delightful. The staff and the food were excellent. She had lots of stimulating things to do and took to the whole experience really well she has subsequently expressed a desire to return which is something we are hoping to arrange in the near future on a more permanent basis. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as outstanding.

I recently visited a friend at Maris View for the first time, and not knowing what to expect, I was truly impressed. Maris View sets a remarkable standard for compassionate, person-centred care. During my visit, I saw just how attentive the team were to all the residents, taking the time to chat with them and make sure their needs were met. The environment and facilities are exceptional, with a calm, homely feel throughout.

The cleanliness of the home is excellent and the food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend Maris View. Thank you everyone for the care given to my mother.

I came to visit mum for the first time since she arrived with my sister, and she looked so well, happy and full of life. This was great to see, as at the previous care home she seemed to be lonely in her room every time I went; it was great to see her part of the community in the lounge. All the staff were welcoming and warm, and they introduced themselves to me. I was offered refreshments and made very welcome. The home itself is outstanding.

The welcome and care my husband receives in Maris View is excellent. All the Staff I have met are remarkably kind and very patient with their residents and visiting family members who so often need support too.

My husband's bedroom is perfect for his needs and all the communal areas are just lovely and so well designed. He is relaxed and I feel that he could not be better cared for anywhere else.

My mum has settled very quickly. The staff are very sympathetic and caring. I only have good things to say. I would recommend to anyone who has reached the point of having a loved one needing care in lovely surroundings.
