During the period of the pandemic, a lot of pressure has been laid upon the staff including some of them being ill.
However, their dedication to the residents has not wavered particularly in regards to my aunt.
My aunt has dementia and is not aware of all the things going on around her. She is also
blind and deaf so needs some extra care.
I cannot praise the staff enough for all they do for her.
I am, of course, not able to visit her very much just now but I can phone to get information on how she is, and the staff, office/nursing, are always pleased to give me the info to keep me up to date.
I am 82 years old and if I were needing to go into a care home Morningside Manor would be my choice.
Well done to all at Morningside Manor, I look forward to my next visit.

Following the demise of my aunt on 5th December 2021, I want to write a review of the over 6 years she was in the care of Lindemann Healthcare initially at another home and finally at Morningside Manor. She was well looked after during the whole period and she was happy with her life in the care home.
The facilities and supporting services were 5 star. The staff were professional and caring and seemed like family to her. The homes were spotless and fresh smelling on every occasion we visited.


The entertainment and events such as parties for residents and their families were well organised. The administration was excellent with monthly newsletters and activity charts.


The end of life care could not have been better. The staff were genuinely upset at my aunt's demise.


We will miss our visits to Morningside Manor.

What a fantastic effort by the team at Morningside Manor - a wonderful afternoon tea with superb food, a beautifully prepared table and fantastic service - as ever!
At a time when all care home staff are under immense pressure, it is incredible to see them going that extra mile to afford residents

Recently, I had the pleasure of accepting an invitation to a Festive Tea with my family friend, a resident of Morningside Manor.
The food was delicious and most beautifully presented. The attention to detail of the table and the beautifully decorated lounge was very much appreciated. As always, the

My sister is a resident at Morningside Manor. It is fair to say that we are the two surviving members of our family. As her older brother and as she was born handicapped I am particularly keen to do all that I can, to ensure her happiness. However, I have lived and worked in England, with my own family
for over 40 years. This pandemic has meant that I haven't been able to visit my sister for over a year. Even now as we are lowering our guard ever so slightly, I cannot cross the border, it is all very sad. However, not in my wildest dreams could I have envisaged the care and help from every member of staff at Morningside Manor. I owe everyone a huge hug and perhaps the odd bottle of Prosecco. I phone my sister constantly, and cannot believe how happy she is, that happiness comes from being safe and secure, and is priceless. I and many others have heard countless horror stories of severe problems in care homes all over the UK, but not at Morningside Manor. I cannot wait to visit my sister and thank you!

Excellent care and attention has been given to my cousin since living at Morningside Manor. Staff and management have at all times been very caring and helpful. My mother was in Morningside Manor for just under two years and the care and attention she received was excellent. She participated in the activities and if they were on when I was visiting, the residents were encouraged to participate. The food was of a very high standard, cooked in house and nothing
was too much effort. In the last week of my mother's life in December 2019, the care and dignity they provided to her and the family was excellent.

I visited my uncle mid-August and was really pleasantly surprised. He looked so well, having become quite frail and was clean and tidy. Importantly, he was out of bed. The staff were lovely and friendly and obviously caring. There was a very pleasant atmosphere and everything was clean and smelt
fresh. I was very happy that he is in such good hands!

The staff were all pleasant and efficient. They were happy to assist with any problems and respected privacy by knocking on room door before entering.
They did not dictate or tell me what to do. They just politely requested. The food was very good, excellent soup and alternative choices, desserts eg
fruit salad very good. The drinking water could be colder. Maybe ice cubes.

Mum arrived at her new home, Morningside Manor 19th January 2019. She has a lovely en-suite bedroom overlooking the front of the building which she loves as there are always people coming and going and buses and cars going by. She takes part in the many activities on offer and trips out. Thursday afternoons
are her favourite as she joins in with the weekly sing-a-long. The staff love mum and she loves them, she's happy and well cared for which is the most important thing.

I've found this care home to be exactly that - a HOME that CARES for my relative.
My Aunt only has positive things to say ranging from the staff, the quality of the room, the food and the cleanliness of the home.
On my visits here, I have to concur with her findings as both she and I are always treated
with respect and courtesy.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending Morningside Manor to other friends/relatives that require the services of such an establishment.

My father was a resident in Morningside Manor for approximately three months and I visit him weekly. I was always most impressed by the courtesy and friendliness of the staff towards visitors and the understanding of the management towards my father.
The carers took a personal interest in him and genuinely
cared for him as an individual.
He passed away last week. I am glad that he spent his last months in such a caring and pleasant environment.

After visiting five different care homes with a friend, I finally decided on Morningside Manor for my dad's care home. Then, after visiting the home with my father, he also knew that this was the place for him to spend the rest of his life. As I cannot visit my dad as much as I would like, I call him
frequently and the carers are always happy to bring him the phone, so we can stay in close contact. My dad is very happy with his surroundings and the care he receives. His happiness equates with my happiness, and so I have great peace of mind, knowing he is being well taken care of.

When it became necessary for my Dad to go into a care facility, we decided on Morningside Manor, because their approach to care was person-centred and aligned with my own views, as I have worked in care for the past 30 years. The staff are friendly and caring, the building is clean and bright and the
overall atmosphere is welcoming. I have no doubts that this has been the best option for Dad, who has very exacting standards.

When choosing a care home for my father, our decision was solely based on finding the best facility available. Morningside Manor has delivered on every level so far, and our decision has been fully justified by the quality of care and attention that my father has received so far. During our search for
a home for my father, we visited around 9 other facilities, no other was as spacious or well equipped. The staff have been fantastic and attend to every need of my father. What is a difficult time for any family has been smoothed out seamlessly by a well-run home and staff.
