We have just moved our parents into Oakbank. Its a big decision and the team here have made everything as easy as possible. The staff are so kind and caring and you can really tell that the culture here is all about excellence in care and lots of compassion and kindness. We received the warmest welcome

This care home is outstanding: the internal design is amazing; the architectural layout has been impeccably thought through so that each room is filled with light and every room has a door leading out into the outside space. The staff are exceptionally caring and kind. Visitors are made to feel welcome
and even dogs are allowed to visit. There is a great rapport between the staff and residents. The nurses, when not handing out medicines or changing surgical dressings, can be found assisting carers to feed residents or wheel us through the gardens. The baths are amazing! I look forward to staying here again in the future.

From the minute I contacted the home about mum coming the manager and staff have been excellent. Communication is really good and mum has settled in well and is relaxed. It is a lovely environment and all staff are caring and kind. There is always a warm welcome too.

We are absolutely delighted with every aspect of mum's experience at Oakbank Care Home.
All staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and caring towards mum and us as family members. There is a lovely sense of a very happy team.
The level of care is excellent. Carers always speak to mum kindly and make
sure she is supported with her personal care.
The surroundings are beautiful. Mum's bedroom is tastefully furnished and always cosy. The sitting and dining rooms are light and airy. It is a lovely space to enjoy time with mum.
Throughout the week, there are a wide range of super activities that mum gets involved with and really enjoys. The weekly visit from Stanley the therapet and local nursery children coming for lunch are just a couple of highlights. There is always something going on to offer stimulation and opportunities to socialise. Everyone sits together to enjoy mealtimes and the standard of food is excellent.
Mum is genuinely happy and settled. We would highly recommend Oakbank to others.

My aunt and uncle arrived in Oakbank Care Home together in December. They were able to choose their rooms and then the staff put up their pictures to welcome them. Every since member of staff has been 100% friendly and support to family, visitors and to my uncle and aunt. They have been encouraged to
take part in Christmas parties, visit the dining room and the hairdresser. They have put up a bird feeder for my uncle. Our experience so far has been wonderful and we are very grateful to have such a lovely care home for my uncle and aunt. The cafe is lovely too - there is an excellent chef at Oakbank - the whole experience so far has been 10/10.

My friend moved here to Oakbank from another care home some distance away. The facilities are first class with extremely attentive staff where nothing seems to be too much trouble. The joy that can now be seen in my friend's demeanour since their move is something to behold.

My husband has been a resident at Oakbank Care Home for two months. He has settled in well and is getting a good level of care. Any issues raised by me have been addressed quickly. His room is beautifully decorated and the lounge and dining room have been tastefully designed. With excellent facilities.
There is also a lovely garden in which my husband and I can spend some time together. Communication is good and I am always contacted if there are any concerns.

Yesterday for the second time I visited a client of mine. It was his Birthday. Wow. The staff were all very welcoming to both myself and my colleague. Told us about our client's day. We had latte's he had bubbles we saw his birthday cake which was stunning and very personal to his love of boats. He
was asked what he would like for his dinner and got his wish. Steak.
Everyone is so attentive and there is such a lovely atmosphere from the minute you walk through the door. The rooms are clean, spacious well appointed with a homely feel. The staff are friendly and chatty. I definitely would rate it 5.

Firstly, Oakbank is a lovely building with excellent furnishings throughout.
Our friend's room is very comfortable with access to outside gardens.
The staff all seem so friendly and approachable and I'm reassured that our friend is getting the very best care, it is a pleasure to visit and faultless
