Mum came here from another care home which did not suit her and I cannot believe the difference Olney Meadows has made to her health. She is happier, has put on weight and, besides the dementia's anxiety, is generally happy. She enjoys many of the activities and is encouraged to participate by the staff. The staff are completley caring and make her days lovely. The effort they made for her birthday was exceptional.

When Mum came to Olney Meadows she wasn't eating, had poor health, multiple hospital stays and overall poor motivation for life. After 3 months she is eating, taking part in activities and this week she asked me to find her knitting which she has not touched for at least a decade. This week she has completed a pottery flower, won a prize at bingo and joined in knitting and natter. I've got my mum back.
It's wonderful to know how much your mum has progressed in such a short time. Seeing her eating well, joining in activities, and even returning to something she loves like knitting after so many years is incredibly special. Moments...

Writing on behalf of my father in law who has been in the home for 10 months. He regards Olney Meadows as his home & the staff are excellent, very caring & helpful. He has recently been unwell and they have bent over backwards to look after him & keep him in the home as its preferable to a hospital admission. Everyone is polite & curteous & respectful. Its expensive but all good care is.

Meet the Team (5)

I have worked in the care industry since 1989 and was previously at Brackley Care Home since its inception in November 2020. I am passionate about delivering person-centred care and strive to facilitate good communication and decision-making between the people we support, their families and the care team. I enjoy spending time at home with my family and in quiet times like to read a good book as well as meet up regularly with members of my church group.

I have worked in the care industry since 1997 and joined Olney Meadows Care Home on 1 June 2026. I am passionate about delivering individualised, person-centred care. I am a caring person who communicates well with residents, their loved ones, and staff. I enjoy working, cooking, and spending time with my family. I have experience working with a variety of medical conditions. My previous roles have included management positions in different care settings, giving me a broad range of knowledge and experience within the care sector.

Hi, I’m Sevinc (you can also call me Sev)! I joined Olney Meadows Care Home in 2025 as the Care Home Administrator. Before working in care, I spent several years in the legal and banking sector, which helped me build great people and organisational skills. I really love being part of Olney Meadows – it’s such a friendly and caring place to work. The team here truly supports one another, and it’s lovely to see how happy and well looked after our residents are every day.

I have worked in the Healthcare arena for a long number of years. By profession, I am a marketer and have served in senior management positions in a variety of blue-chip as well as healthcare organisations, leading from within, and working with sensational teams to collectively achieve the very, very best. Personally, I regard my forte as being supporting and working with people; be it in a team environment or via cross-business functions; but in particular, I enjoy extending and reaching out to third parties, with a true passion for enhancing relationships and building partnerships, the combination of which culminates in mutual benefit all round. Community and communication, to me, are key. I am always here to support you and your loved ones, and I very much look forward to welcoming you into the Kingsley Healthcare Family.
