Priors Hall is located in a residential area of Corby, close to transport links and local amenities and attractions. Priors Hall continues to welcome new residents for residential and residential dementia care, both on a respite and permanent basis.

Priors Hall can support up to 66 residents. All bedrooms have fitted furniture and benefit from en suite wet rooms. Facilities include a hair and beauty salon, quiet lounges and a coffee area.

Residents living with dementia receive quality dementia care, provided by colleagues who are fully trained to ensure their approach offers the best standards of care to residents.

The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

My experience of Priors Hall is excellent. Staff are always very helpful and kind. The home is always a lovely and welcoming place to visit. Staff are always friendly and kind and helpful and happy to chat to you at any time.
They are always so understanding and feel they are supportive when you need

It was a difficult decision to move Mum into a care home. We are so pleased we chose Priors Hall. The staff are fantastic, provide reassurance to us as family whilst providing a great place to live for the residents.
It's such a relief to know that Mum is well looked after and she's more active now
than she has been for a couple of years.

What a positive experience we have when we come to see Mum. She is much more settled and communicative. Any problems have been settled quickly. The staff are always supportive and proactive. Cannot praise all the staff highly enough.

My father came to Priors Hall as respite care early April 2023 but has now become a permanent resident. Dad was seriously struggling both mentally and physically after a prolonged hospital stay and his first few weeks were difficult. Dad has improved beyond what we thought he would. Weight gained, walking
markedly improved, coping better all round. Staff are wonderful, as is the management team and the family are more than happy for Dad to live at Priors. The whole home has a relaxed and happy feel.

The level of care our stepmother received whilst at Priors Hall was exceptional. The home was always clean, warm and welcoming. The care she received was always professional, and she was treated with dignity, compassion and caring. Her last days were made as comfortable, and comforting, as it was possible
to be. She could not have been cared for any better. This caring ethos was also extended to us, her family. We cannot thank everyone there enough. They went above and beyond.

I feel so privileged to have gained a place at Priors Hall for my mother, who moved in at the beginning of February. However, I was not prepared for the street moving her would cause her. The staff have all worked tirelessly to make her feel welcome and safe. The building speaks for itself, providing
a luxurious carefully considered environment for residents and visitors alike. It is by far the best care home I have visited, with a wonderful atmosphere and elegant furnishings and maintained to a first-class hotel standard by the housekeeping team.
The residents have an excellent and varied programme of activities and are coaxed and encouraged to participate, but there is no pressure to join in.
I love the way the residents interact with each other and build friendships. There is a true family feeling. Staff take time to talk and are quick to attend to people's needs, always with smiles and kindness.
Priors Hall is a brilliantly managed and caring home-from-home.

Mum has been here for five weeks now. The staff are very caring with her and seem to be very understanding of her needs. They try to encourage her to join in and mingle and that's all we want. She's very much a loner, but we can see from photo's she's starting to mix, which is very important for us.
A bit of confusion with some medication, but hopefully sorted now. A beautiful, bright building with lots of happy, friendly employees. Keep up the good work!

Mum went to Priors Hall for respite. She has answered the questions and rated things herself. She was apprehensive about using a care home at first but was very surprised and said it came up beyond her expectations. She said the staff were lovely and engaged with her, making conversation and were very
caring. Her room was really comfortable and clean. She thoroughly enjoyed the activities which she joined in with and said the organiser was very encouraging and friendly. She said it didn't feel like a care home at all. I have to say I found the home a lovely environment and nothing seemed too much trouble in making mum feel at ease and settled. She says she's looking forward to her next respite stay in October! Thank you to all at Priors Hall.

Mum was only the second resident to move into Priors Hall and immediately received the most excellent care and attention from all staff. This high standard was maintained throughout the whole time and none more so than in the remaining weeks of mum's life. As a family, we were kept fully informed in
a considerate and compassionate way which gave us every reassurance that mum was as comfortable and pain-free as could be expected. We will be eternally grateful to ALL members of the Priors Hall team for their kindness, professionalism and compassion. They ensured mum was treated with respect and upheld her dignity right to the end. We feel enormously thankful that mum was surrounded by such dedicated and caring people who went far beyond just doing their job. Thank you from us all.

This is a real home from home, where residents are treated as individuals and their needs catered for in every way. A wide range of activities are available to encourage participation and interaction amongst the residents. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble, each
of them goes above and beyond to ensure residents are cared for as if they were their own family. We feel very reassured that dad is in safe hands and cared for in a way that allows him to remain as independent as possible.

Lynsey

Lynsey Ballard

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

With 20 years of experience in the care sector, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of roles, steadily progressing to senior-level positions. I began my journey at Priors Hall in 2022 as a Senior Carer, before advancing to Deputy Care Manager and Care Manager. Most recently, I was honoured to be promoted to the role of Home Manager, a position I am excited and proud to hold.


Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families. I am dedicated to fostering an environment where care and compassion are at the forefront of everything we do.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

I began my care career in 2017. Since this time, I have gained a lot of knowledge from working with palliative care, physical disability, mental health, Learning disability and Elderly care. Working in these different areas has supported me to gain a well-rounded knowledge of the care environment.


I started working at Priors Hall Care Home in October 2022 as a Senior Care Assistant. This role made me realise how much I love working in care and I quickly progressed to Team Leader. I have recently been given the opportunity to move to the next exciting role as Prior Hall Deputy Manager.


I look forward to working with everyone, sharing my experience and respect for the residents and relatives at Priors Hall. I will always ensure that we provide our residents with a safe, caring and nurturing environment where they can enjoy living with us.

Carl Turner-Fountain

Hi, my name is Carl Turner-Fountain and I am an activities co-ordinator at Priors Hall Care Home.
I joined Priors Hall in February 2024 having been a chef for 37 years, then deciding it was time for a new challenge in life.


After losing my Father to Dementia I wanted to bring understanding and happiness through activities in my new role.


As a member of the Corby community I love fundraising and being a part of an amateur theatre group. These connections and many more have made it possible to bring so many different activities and entertainment to the home to which I'm very grateful.
It brings passion and joy to a working day when you can bring families and loved ones together. We love making memories. Not every day is a Party At Priors but even one to one time with our residents makes my job so special.

MaryBeth Gaines

My name is MaryBeth. I am the Administrator here at Priors Hall Care Home. With 13 years of experience in Healthcare Administration and Service Management, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of roles, starting in the NHS and even spending some time as a Customer Service Manager for an engineering company. While my journey has been diverse, my true passion lies in creating efficient process to improve services for residents.


Although much of my work is behind a desk, my focus is always on delivering exceptional service. I believe that every administration task completed should directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of those we care for.
