Rivers Reviews (1)
Over all time Rivers has 1 review.
What I love about Rivers and the other houses in the Cream Care Group at Taunton, is the fact that it is a real home for my son. He needs 24/7 care and the Cream Care model is perfect for him. The site at Longrun Lane has four (I think) separate houses and they are all cosy and homely but with plenty of room, whilst the economies of scale enable them to run a hydrotherapy pool and other expensive facilities on site.
The staff and management are all excellent.
I can see my boy whenever I wish and if I can't get to Taunton then we Skype; he clearly loves being at Rivers. They keep him busy all the time and I can see that all the residents are treated as individuals.
The best part is that, in Rivers, almost all the other residents are late teens or twenties, just the age of my son. It's a perfect peer group for him. I hope it will be a home for life for him.
I would thoroughly recommend a Cream Care Group residential care home to any youngster who needs this care model.
