My mother moved into Tudor House as it opened in the summer of 2025. She loved it from day one because she was valued as an individual and cared for in the best possible way.
Sadly at the beginning of this year her health began to deteriorate and after a short stay in hospital we were facing some huge decisions about her ongoing care. Instinctively, I turned to the care team at Tudor House and together we made plans that were tailormade to suit her needs. It was such a relief to myself and my family that she was able to stay at Tudor House and we had every confidence that we were making the best decisions for my mother.
The whole team at Tudor House were outstanding and they were with us every step of the way. They showed my mother great kindness and empathy. I am forever grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are so pleased that you felt your Mother was valued as an individual and cared for in the best possible way and shown great kindness and empathy. It is a pleasure to care for your Mother here at Tudor House and I will ensure I pass on your kind words to all the team members who will be delighted to hear them.

My great-aunt has lived at Tudor House Care Home for seven months, and the experience has been wonderful. She loves the varied events and outings-especially getting out for fresh air-and thoroughly enjoys participating in flower arranging, an activity that keeps her mind actively engaged. My aunt...
I have personally dined here, and the food is delicious. The facility itself resembles a high-end hotel: it is always spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, and incredibly welcoming. Furthermore, the staff are exceptionally dedicated and friendly, always trying to meet every resident's unique needs.
I want to thank everyone involved for the outstanding care and support you have given her since her arrival
Thank you Michelle for your wonderful five star review! We are so pleased your great-aunt loves living with us here at Tudor House, she is a genuine star and we love seeing her get involved in all the activities.

The cinema room is a wonderful addition and provides great entertainment for residents. The outdoor space is lovely too, well maintained, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying some fresh air.
What really makes Tudor House special is the staff. They are caring, attentive, and always go above and beyond to make residents feel happy and valued. The food is also delicious, with a great variety of meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable.
It is reassuring to see my friend so well cared for in such a warm and friendly environment. I would highly recommend Tudor House to anyone looking for a high-quality care home.

My grandmother has recently been a resident of Tudor Lodge for respite. I have been blown away by the standard of care she has received alongside the high standard of the facilities at the home. It feels so friendly and like a 5 star hotel. The staff are warm, kind and really does feel like I can now relax and know that my 100 year old grandmother can be 100% looked after. I must mention the food - wow! It's delicious. Thank you for providing such a high quality care. I couldn't have asked for anything more, it has been a great experience for both my grandmother and our family.

My husband very recently spent one week at Tudor House for respite care. He was warmly welcomed by the staff and soon settled in enjoying the company of others but most importantly he was well care for during his stay. From our very first visit to look around Tudor Home we could see that there was a relaxed and warm environment that residents were experiencing. The general manager was attentive to both my husband's needs and to mind, so that the week's respite would benefit us both. I have no hesitation in my husband returning for a further respite period.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Tudor House, we strive to provide a person centred approach to all our residents. Looking after your husband was a pleasure. We look forward to seeing you both again soon.

Tudor House is a good care home. Most importantly, there is a high ratio of staff to residents and the staff are both friendly and caring. Rooms are well-equipped, beds are comfortable and the en suite washing facilities aid privacy. Added to this the very good, brand-new facilities, varied, good quality food and drink and high standard of cleanliness, altogether give the feeling more of a comfortable hotel than a home. The 'open door' policy enabling relatives and friends to visit and partake of meals with their loved-ones at any time (at no extra charge) is convenient and confidence-building. When issues arise, management listen carefully to any points raised and are quick to respond effectively.
Overall, Tudor House is consistently good across the board and definitely worthy of consideration should you be looking for a care home.
Thank you for your heartfelt review of our home. I am so pleased you have confidence in all of our team. We look forward to welcoming you into Tudor House in the future.

Following a series of hospital stays, and a recent diagnosis for Dementia /Alzheimers disease, it was evident that mum could no longer stay in her own home, so started the somewhat daunting process of looking for a suitable care home for her, and from our experience so far, Tudor Home is perfect. The staff and carers are so kind and understanding - nothing is too much trouble for them, and so far mum has settled in really well. The home is lovely, very well looked after - high standards of cleanliness, and the food is amazing. Although I was apprehensive about the whole process, and worried about how it would work out, Amanda and her team have been fantastic in understanding mums' needs and care required, and I would definitely recommend Tudor Home to anyone in a similar position.
Thank you for you lovely review of Tudor House, its team and facilities. We all strive to deliver the best care we possibly can. Looking after your mum and seeing her engaging with her fellow residents and the team is an absolute pleasure.
Lovely care home with exceptional attention of care given to my father and mother in law. Invited to join them on Christmas Day and lunch was lovely. All staff are helpful, cheerful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The care home itself is like a 5 star hotel and beautifully decorated.

The place itself is airy and light with lots of different spaces to sit in or walk to. Trips out have included a visit to the Concorde Museum and a local cafe and I know mum has been involved in various activities in the home. From what I have seen, the menu offered is outstanding. My mother's room has a patio door from which she can exit whenever she likes into the growing garden.I think it would have been a challenge to find a better new home for mum. Most grateful to all the staff at Tudor.

My dad has moved into this fabulous care facility just this week. We've been impressed firstly by the well-trained staff and brand new facilities. My dad loves the variety on the menu and he's even been impressed by the speed of response from the carers. We had a choice of homes to review when moving him in to the area - from another care home - and we're all delighted we found Tudor House.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience for others. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high quality care and it means so much to know that our efforts are making a difference.
