Overall Experience

My husband found the nursing home to be clean and the staff were kind. Another relative thought the staff were patient and tried their best. The only concern I had was the nurse's knowledge of foot dressings but this was a 'specialised field' and I was impressed that she asked who to contact about these dressings. I found the staff so welcoming and caring and felt they listened. I was impressed that we could easily access my husband at any time. Thank you!

My father and mother stayed at Whitstable house during a difficult time at the end of my Dads life when he was suffering from advanced dementia and Alzheimers. The staff at the home cared for them with kindness and careful attention. They were treated as individuals and with respect. Communication with the family was good, both in person and through their online portal that had regular updates throughout the day.

I felt that my parents were in a safe environment and their medical needs were being well met.

I cannot fault the care, attention and support my nan has had so far at Whitstable House, the staff are approachable attentive and friendly. Nan going into a care home wasn't the route we really wanted to take so it's been a hard transition for us all as a family, and yet again the staff at Whitstable House have been amazing with not only Nan but us as a family too. The facilities are all of a really high standard and to put the cherry on the cake the views are amazing. We looked around many places but Whitstable House is by far the best design we could have made, nan is happy and smiling. Thank you Whistable House. The only reason I haven't given the activities 5 stars is because it's not all up and running yet due to only 1 resident but I'm sure the 5th star will be there soon.

It's truly heartening to hear about the exceptional care, attention, and support your nan is receiving at Whitstable House. Transitioning to a care home can indeed be challenging for the whole family, but it's reassuring to know that the staff have been approachable, attentive, and friendly, not...
