Overall Experience
My dad has returned home from a 2 week respite stay in Winton Suites - July 2026.
Communication with the team prior to dad being accepted was clear and professional. A full assessment of his needs was completed over the telephone with myself before being offered a respite placement.
Throughout the process communication was professional but warm and I felt able to ask questions and provide info. I felt reassured and relaxed the whole team were aware of all my dads needs and I definitely felt the team only wished to provide high level care to support him.
On dad's arrival the welcome was warm and friendly, we were given a lovely afternoon tea in the Brasserie allowing us to spend some time together before I left. Dad was shown to his room and facilities of Winton - all of a high standard.

It id the first time I have accessed this type of support for my dad and I would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to Winton in the future. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his stay!!

Overall Experience
My parents moved into the Winton Suites in early May and after one month the change in them has been remarkable.
My dad has Alzheimers (12/13 years) and my mum has Parkinsons (2/3 years). Our issue wasn't the level of care but the consistency of the care and the interest shown in them, wasn't of a hugely high standard, unfortunately.

My mum and dad were spiralling, getting dad out of bed was a struggle, getting him into the shower even more difficult. And mum was just becoming more and more withdrawn

Since moving into the Winton Suites - they both have their sparkle back, of course it doesn't take away their respective illnesses - but the care in the Winton Suite, has been outstanding. Simple things, knowing their names, having a bit of football banter with my dad - time to chat with my mum and daily activities - that give them something to talk about, when we go in of an evening.
It is hugely, hugely reassuring to us as a family - that they are in good hands.
Thanks

Stewart

It is a huge decision to move/be moved into a care home and I can honestly say that I have no doubt my mother in is the best place possible. My mother has needed medical help on a few occasions since her admission and each time has been dealt with quickly, professionally and with great compassion.
I cannot praise Winton Suites enough. The staff are second to none- the amazing Management Team, the Front of House Staff, the Nursing and care team, hospitality and cleaning and laundry staff. Every single one goes out of their way to make my mum and any visitors she has to feel as if nothing is too much trouble. I am in the privileged position that there are days I am told not to come in as they have such a fantastic activity schedule!

My mum is thriving and its thanks to her being here,

The staff were very friendly and attentive and strived to cater for individual needs. The interior decor of the home is beautiful, and the ambience is bright and positive. The food was very good, and food preferences were catered for. A positive experience all round.

Overall Experience

The facilities are outstanding but are equally matched by the care, compassion, respect and genuine interest shown by the experts taking care of residents. While our experience is only over a short period the expectations set when initially reviewing this home as a potential for my parents has been evidenced from day 1. Being well settled works two ways not only in surroundings they were able to make their own but in the people interactions while doing so. Regular contact is maintained with family to ensure accurate and timely information is available. Nothing is too much trouble and we are as a family feeling our parents are safe and well looked after at all times. Long may this continue.

Excellent respite care provided to my aunt by the staff at Winton Suites. Full nursing assessment on admission and nurses took control of my aunt's medication. Nursing staff always happy to provide us with an update on my aunt's progress. Impressed with the professional care provided to my aunt, delivered with warmth and patience during her 4 week stay. Facilities are second to none, more like a hotel. Feedback from my aunt was that the TV in her room had a fabulous picture but the remote control was a challenge. My aunt found the bed to be very comfortable and improved the quality of her sleep. Food was beautifully presented but portions were a bit too generous. Coffees and teas during the day (with freshly baked treats) were much appreciated! The Care Home Manager was very approachable and particulary helpful with the admission process, which had to be arranged at short notice.
