A very good service, with professional and caring staff. Only comment is to have a more regular schedule for the hairdresser and nails/toenails. This was noted at the review.

I would highly recommend Northcare for anyone looking for live in care in the Stirling area.

Twoish weeks in, and first impressions are excellent. Arrangements were smooth and easy, and the maintenance team who helped with the move were outstanding - even moving furniture, hanging pictures and setting up a bird bath. His room is spacious and full of natural light, it's a beautiful home.

He's still settling in, and through this the whole team are being really attentive and skilled, learning how best to support him and reassuring with the challenges of changing memory. They watch his health closely and keep us well informed.

Our welcome lunch was absolutely super. He loved hosting dinners in classy restaurants, but that had become too hard. Here we enjoyed lovely food in a private top-floor dining room with wonderful views and staff on hand to support him with dignity - an excellent restaurant, at home. He was happier than we'd seen him in years.

We thought it looked pricier than other homes, but having visited many it's genuinely worth it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Staff are attentive & problems dealt with promptly as they arise

There are many reasons for a resident to feel that this is a home from home. They have great facilities and activities for the residents. It is also very welcoming to guests who are visiting. We appreciate the staff and facilities with good communication to all.

From Robyn being the 'first face' when contacting The Balmoral, through to James in the Brasserie to the staff in the Culzean Suite, we could not have been more reassured that this was going to be the correct decision on such a major "Life" move. After that first visit, Henty was in no doubt that she was taking up residency, and it proved to be an excellent decision. The home is wonderfully appointed; the staff are caring and attentive and the activities are plentiful and enriching. How many 93-year-olds do you know who start learning Spanish in between keep fit classes and trips to the Burrell Collection? Latterly, as Henty's health declined, every aspect of her care was meticulous and loving (and that latter term is not used lightly). During the last week, the staff's empathy in looking after me with the same level of care as offered to Henty was humbling. You were all wonderful. Every one of you. Thank you. I'd recommend the Balmoral to anyone.

Since Dad arrived at Northcare Residences his general demeanor, attitude and overall personality has improved greatly. I feel that having company and stimulation all day has improved his mood and he genuinely seems much happier. He still believes he is there on a temporary basis and I will continue with that approach whilst I can. The staff have all been extremely kind and helpful to both dad and myself and I feel our time together is quality time now with the stress of caring for him being removed. He does struggle with the tv in his room and can't operate it so looking at ways round it as he still likes the peace of his room and watching sport and animal programmes. I will probably look at installing a television broadcaster once I have managed to finalise the details of the sale of the property. I arrived last week and dad told me he had been taken to the local pub with another resident and had a drink and chips and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Northcare care homes were recommended to me by my Mum's dentist when I was looking for respite care for her last year. She has this month enjoyed another week of respite care at Northcare Residences where I can be confident she will be safe and well-cared for. Visitors have also enjoyed the home's hospitality in the spacious basement restaurant.

My mum has been in care home since end January - hospital told us some good ones to try. The one we got to has very good reviews and as Mum got dementia they cared for her remarkably. Only thing is Mum doesn't get anything much towards fees which are very expensive. My dad 90 and he feels they worked so hard with not a lot financial help at this stage in life.

I would not have any concerns about recommending Rosaburn to families who are looking for a Care Home for their loved ones.

Briefly my wife fractured her femur on 26.1.26. She made a full recovery. Sadly on 4.6.26 the plate inserted to stabalise the fractured femur broke! She had a successful operation to replace the broken plate. She then suffered a stroke. When discharged from hospital she was rather frail, physically but mentally very sharp. Her recovery in the community was hindered by lack of physiotherapy. She spent two weeks in Balmoral with remarkable results!

I have nothing but praise for Clarkston Care Home and it's staff. Having experience of another care home where I have another relative, the difference is huge, all in Clarkston's favour. Be it care, communication, staffing levels, etc, Clarkston comes out first on all. They genuinely care, and that regrettably is not a given in Scotland's care system. We recently attended their annual barbeque, and that was a nice gesture which my dad thoroughly enjoyed.

Dad has received exceptional care and kindness since moving to Northcare Residences. The staff who look after Dad are knowledgeable and experienced in Dementia care and Dad responds very well to their gentle approach. He is very happy there and particularly enjoys the good food! Facilities are excellent and I always feel very welcome when I visit. The home is beautiful and spotlessly clean.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the care home to other families looking for somewhere their loved one will be treated with dignity, kindness and genuine care.

Mum has been a resident at Rosaburn for two & a half years. The team works to my mum's individual needs and show affection & compassion on a regular basis. The Team will help if either Mum or the family require anything. A great team doing a great job.

A fantastic care home. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. My Uncle absolutely loves living here. When he arrived in Jan 2025 from another care home he was traumatised and the manager Robert noticed straight away and organised for the staff to go in every wee while to help settle him and it worked a treat. The staff have gotten to know my uncle so well and support him in so many ways. They put on amazing wee days for families to get together, just had a bbq the other week and it was brilliant to see my uncle and all other residents n families having an amazing time together making memories. All staff are polite, friendly and help whenever they can and communication is great.

My wife has been in Rosaburn for two and a half years and I could not be more happy for her care. The staff could not be more attentive and the atmosphere in the home is wonderful, I would highly recommend Rosaburn to anyone needing care and support for their loved ones.

We're really happy with the care my grandpa receives at Northcare Residences. He's very happy there and is always well looked after. All the staff are so kind, caring and helpful, and it's a real comfort knowing he's in good hands. We're very grateful to everyone there for looking after him so well.
