From when you first enter the reception and throughout the care home, you cant help but be most impressed by Northcare.

We cannot thank Joel, the Manager at Clarkston House, enough for all the help, kindness and support he has shown us throughout the whole process of finding a home for our grandfather.

From our very first initial visit, Joel made us feel welcome, listened to our concerns and took the time to answer all our questions. He guided us through every step of the process, making what could have been a very difficult and emotional time for our family so much easier.

His patience, understanding and genuine care really stood out, not only during our initial visits but also throughout the settling-in period. He has been approachable, reassuring and supportive, helping us feel confident that our grandfather needs are met.

Choosing a care home for a loved one is never an easy decision, but Joel's professionalism, compassion and personal approach made such a positive difference to us as a family.

5 months since my uncle became a resident as a family could not feel better supported. We have a real sense of relief that he is being cared for by a team that genuinely care for him and go out of their way to ensure that his health, wellbeing, comfort, safety and happiness are at the heart of what they do

My mother receives an excellent level of care from a compassionate and professional care team. She is treated with respect and staff are always willing to provide what's ever possible to make her life comfortable and enjoyable .

My dad who has Parkinson's and Parkinson's related dementia has been a resident since April 2026. I Cannot recommend this care home facility enough. The staff all go above & beyond expectations for their residents and their families. The facilities that they offer are fantastic and I would say they could give any five star resort hotel some competition. From the accommodation to the setting, available facilities and all the activities that are available are all second to none. My dad is cared for extremely well, he is happy and very settled after a traumatic start to this year. I Cannot recommend this Care home highly enough.

Mum has been in Rosaburn for a year, she has been well cared for during a very difficult time. My Dad died in July and the staff were great. After discussions with them we agreed that mum should not be told. Everyone conveyed their sympathy in a very discreet manner. When a quieter room recently became available I asked if Mum could be moved into it, they did this very seamlessly and arranged her room in a manner that she would recognise. Mum has always seemed fairly content.

From the very first phone conversation. I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness in the way I was treated. My enquiries were met with well-informed, empathetic responses that both clarified and put me at ease. The first visit was extremely reassuring and my sister and I were were very impressed by the facilities on offer for our father. However, more than the impressive facilities, we were struck by the friendliness, compassion and professional expertise from every single member of the team at Winton Suites. We came away with no doubt in our minds, that this would be the safest, calmest but most stimulating place of residence to meet all of Dad's needs, through to the end of life care. We have already seen a rapid improvement in Dad's cognitive function and social interactions since moving into Winton Suites a few weeks ago. He is more like the Dad of old, smiling and conversing, enjoying the wide range of activities as well as delicious food that is on offer.

So glad to have our dad living there.

The staff are wonderful and caring with my mum. Lovely environment, always a coffee available to enjoy with mum in the brasserie. Our family couldn't have coped without Northcare and their staff. Only negative is the laundry and missing clothes although there are processes in place for it to run smoothly it doesn't always happen. Mum is lucky to be part of the Northcare family.

The main strength of Northcare Stirling is the staff who are, without exception, excellent. Since coming to Northcare, my Mum's health has improved and she is now much happier, and safer, than she was previously. They all go above and beyond to do what they can to make her, and us when we visit, feel that this is her home.

My mum has lived at Rosaburn House for over a year now and the peace of mind our family feels is important. The care staff are patient, kind, and treat her with dignity. Management are approachable and keeps us updated on any changes in her health, The rooms are clean, the meals are great, and there is always an activity or music session happening to keep everyone engaged. We could not have asked for a more warm and safe environment for her.

Mum has been a resident since May 2026. Mum has dementia and was struggling to live at home independently. Ahead of Mum moving to Northcare my family and l including Mum had several visits, we discussed Mum's care needs and value of promoting Mum's independence. Staff created a care plan for Mum, the care plan is regularly reviewed and updated. Communication skills between staff and family are very good. We have found staff to be very approachable and supportive towards Mum and our family. All of the staff including nursing, house keeping and catering staff all know Mum by name. There are activities everyday of the week so mum can join in as she likes. We are getting to know some of the other residents and their families and there are always lovely conversations when we are sitting in the lower ground cafe. We are delighted with the care our mother is receiving.

I have nothing but praise for the home and all the staff 5 stars.the staffs care and loving goes above and beyond especially in the last month for my mum. sadly mum passed at start of September .over the year she has being staying at Balmoral everyone involved with my mum's care.has been absolutely 5 star and we thank them dearly from the bottom of our hearts.

My mother has been a resident at Clarkston House Care Home since May 2022. She is very settled there and the staff and management do a great job looking after her.

We are delighted she is there and feel she is very well cared for.

We looked at several homes this stood out from the rest the welcome we received was professional and careing all our questions answered in a timely manner we felt supported at all times. All the staff including reception, housekeeping, carers ,Nurses and hospitality staff are all attentive at all times it seems to be a well run home.

My Mum has settled so well and it's thanks to the care & attention from staff. Some go above & beyond, but all staff are very much appreciated.

Staff are quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

A very good service, with professional and caring staff. Only comment is to have a more regular schedule for the hairdresser and nails/toenails. This was noted at the review.
