I cannot fault the care that my Dad has received at Drumby. He moved in after having to be hospitalised with the flu and was uable to return to his home. His illness had taken a severe toll on his health and he was a shell of his former self, but with the help and care from EVERYONE at Drumby he is
now thriving. The building itself is a beautiful environment to live in, but it's the people who have made the difference. The management and staff have gone above and beyond to ensure Dad has settled in and have accomodated his specific needs to make his stay the best experience it can be. I can now go back to being his daughter, spending quality time with him in the knowledge that he is safe and happy.
Reply from Craig Moody, Head of Client Relations at Northcare Residences, GlasgowThank you so much for taking the time to share this - it truly means a great deal to our whole team.
We're so pleased to hear how well your Dad is doing and that he is now thriving after such a difficult period. Knowing that our care and support have helped him regain his health and wellbeing is exactly why our team does what they do every day. We are in no doubt that your Dad has settled well.
Your kind words about our staff and management will be shared with the team - they will be incredibly proud to know the difference they've made for your Dad and for you as a family. Being able to return to simply being his daughter and enjoying quality time together is so important, and we're honoured to be able to support you both in that.
Thank you again for your trust and for such thoughtful feedback.
Warmest regards,
Craig Moody

My aunt has settled In to Balmoral extremely well which I put down to the outstanding care staff who are all very friendly and attentive. We were very well taken care of from the minute we walked through the door, and feel that my aunt is in wonderful hands.
On arrival today, we very lucky enough
to experience the fantastic live entertainment in the brasserie, and were treated to some lovely drinks by the excellent host upstairs.
My aunt's bedroom is absolutely beautiful. The care and thought the staff put into arranging her personal belongings to make it feel like home is incredibly touching, and I know it means the world to her.
Deciding to put a family member into full time care is never an easy decision, but management made the whole process feel so much easier for us as a family. They went over and above, and nothing was too big an ask. Thanks again to the entire staff of Balmoral - I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a care home.
Reply from Robyn Cooper, Administrator at Balmoral by NorthcareThank you so much for your wonderful review. It means to the world to all our staff that to receive this feedback. The care staff pride themselves on getting to know each residents as quickly as possible - likes and dislike's and I'm pleased they got it so right with your aunts room. We are thrilled to hear you found the full process as easy as it could be. I look forward to welcoming you and family back for your next visit.

Where to begin describing the care, standards and environment that Northcare have provided for Mum and Dad - and for me. We had a truly horrific experience with their previous care home leaving us stranded and without care. Northcare stepped in and went above and beyond to help us rehome and settle
them. Many care homes will tell you they accommodate dementia patients without proper training which is not the environment that dementia sufferers should be in. The extra training in dementia support that Northcare have had is so apparent in how considerate, intuitive, understanding and kind the staff are. Very simple things like understanding how to create a really special environment for residents and family has such a positive affect for dementia patients that can last for days. In these moments I get the best of Mum and Dad and we all come away feeling loved and light. My Dad said the other day that he understood that the staff at Northcare were his other family. Mine too. Thank you
Reply from Jordan Simpson, Care Home Manager at Northcare Residences, GlasgowHi, thanks for the lovely review. We are delighted the move has been so successful and your Mum and Dad have been getting on so well in this setting. We will make sure to pass this feedback to the full care team.

My dad's health was deteriorating and I needed to ensure he was safe round-the-clock. From our first visit to view, we were made to feel very welcome and that nothing was a bother. Dad really loved the surroundings, the staff were friendly but professional, and he soon moved in permanently.
At all
times, dad's needs were considered, making sure he was comfortable, safe and seen. Me and the rest of the family quickly got to know the staff well, and felt at ease if we needed to request anything, including alternative food or drinks for Dad.
Latterly, I spent so much time there I felt part of the family. We had fabulous support for dad's end-or-life care, which was very dignified and personal, and I can't thank the staff enough for their help during this extremely difficult period.
I would definitely recommend the Balmoral - it's not just a lovely 5 star care home but the staff are caring, thoughtful and kind.

My mum stayed at Balmoral Care Home for respite towards the end of 2025, having stayed for a week earlier the same year. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They've always treated mum with the utmost care and respect and would often go above and beyond our expectations to make sure her time in
their care was enjoyable and dignified. Thank you to everyone at Balmoral, you are a credit to the care industry which often comes in for much negative publicity.

A daunting prospect of gigantic proportions having to move your husband into a care home, especially when he is very much against the idea.
All of the worries and fears evaporated however when I took my husband to visit Northcare Residences.
His opinions changed on that very first visit and he moved
in shortly afterwards in February 2025. The home is elegantly decorated, both in the public areas and the bedrooms/ensuites and is immaculately clean. Amongst the many amenities on offer there is a brasserie which welcomes residents and their families/friends during the day, a lovely space to use when visiting. Adjacent to this there is also a roof top terrace for use during the finer weather that Scotland is renowned for!
The management and staff are truly welcoming, professional, caring, kind and cheerful. After a recent hospital stay, my husband was actually looking forward to "going home" - Says it all really.

I've only good things to say about the staff, the care, and the facilities at Rosaburn House. Everyone made my 92 year old dad feel welcome right from the moment he moved in - staff talked to him, listened to him, and cared for him. My wife and I and are regular visitors to a resident at Northcare Stirling.
Since our first visit which was more than a year ago, we have been continually impressed by the facilities; the care provided; the attention to detail shown by staff and, most of all, the level of kindness and care shown by
the staff.
I have visited a number of care homes in recent years, and Northcare is head and shoulders above all of them. Indeed, many of my friends have remarked it is more like a luxury hotel than a care home.
It is a credit to the sector in every respect

After a long, happy and contented life my grandma found herself frail, 98 years old snd battling with dementia.
Despite almost round the clock care it became clear that she needed support 24 hours a day.
The team from North care Suites assessed and accepted her.
Unfortunately she took a sudden
turn for the worse and care at home became distressing for her and for us as a family, recognising we could not meet her needs. Despite this change Northcare suites accepted her for end of life care.
From the moment they began caring for her they extended that compassion to us, a grieving family. The person centered care was kind and compassionate, the very best in end of life care in a beautiful environment.
Staff were always kind, never walked by without offering support and kindness, and a cup of tea.
As a nurse of more than 25 years I cannot express my appreciation enough. My grandma was so proud I went into to nursing a this team demonstrate the very best of the profession.
Reply from Kirsty Summers, Northcare at Northcare Suites Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a deeply moving review. We are truly honoured that your family entrusted Northcare Suites with your grandma's care at such an important and emotional time.

We are very sorry for your loss, and we're grateful that we were able to support both your grandma and your family with compassion, dignity and comfort during her final days. Your words about person-centred care, kindness and the support shown to you as a family mean a great deal to our entire team.

To receive this feedback from someone with over 25 years' experience in nursing is especially humbling. Your recognition of our team as representing the very best of the profession is something we will share with staff, who will be incredibly proud to know the impact they had.

Thank you again for your trust, your kind words, and for allowing us to be part of your grandma's care. Our thoughts remain with you and your family at this difficult time.

This care home is just THE absolute BEST care home there is especially in the Stirling area. Myself and my Brother looked around various care homes for my Mum and none came up to this North Care care home's level of exceptional care. They are all friendly staff and dependable. My Mum, despite having
Vascular Dementia, is very very happy there and is totally well looked after so we as her children are very pleased as not an easy job I'm sure. Both reception staff and the manager Robert are lovely, amazing and friendly staff too.

We couldn't be happier with the care my mum is receiving at this home. The place itself is beautiful - tastefully decorated, calm, and immaculately clean, which immediately gives a sense of comfort and reassurance.
The staff are truly exceptional. They are warm, friendly, and kind, and it's clear they
genuinely care about the residents. This means so much to us as a family.
The food is of a very high standard, and there is an impressive range of activities every day. Residents are never left sitting idle - there is a wonderful balance of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social, activities that keep everyone engaged and involved.
Communication has been excellent throughout. The staff keep both myself and my brother fully informed about any health or settling-in matters and always go out of their way to ensure mum is cared for to the highest standard.
We are extremely grateful for the care, professionalism and kindness shown to mum and highly recommend this care home.

Northcare staff facilitated a cinema experience afternoon to allow us to have more family time for what is our relatives first Christmas there. Angela couldn't have been more helpful in the organising process and communication was excellent as always. The staff provided cinema snacks and treats along
with mince pies and coffee for afterwards. They even supplied our fussy 7 year old with his favourite caramel shortbread. This allowed us to let the kids stay and spend more time with loved ones without worrying about them distracting other residents (Xmas is a very excitable time). The care and compassion shown by all staff for our family member puts our minds at ease that she's safe and well supported.
Reply from Angela Reid, Front of House Manager at Northcare Residences StirlingThank you so much for the lovely review. It is our pleasure to arrange cinema experiences for families at Northcare to allow you to enjoy quality time together. Delighted that the snacks and drinks were well received by everyone too!
The team strive to ensure the care delivered is always to the highest standard and will share your kind words with the wider team.

Mum has been at home in Rosaburn for two years.Mum and the family have got to know the carers and management which ensures we can communicate freely.
Mum is treated with dignity and respect and has fun with all the carers who seem to know what each resident needs as individuals.
Mum loves the food
which just keeps on coming and this is great as mum was always fussy about her food.
The Team work hard to keep the residents stimulated and content with a wide range of activities.

Our family would like to share how incredibly grateful we are for the care and support our mum has received at Rosaburn.
She has now been at Rosaburn for two weeks, and the difference in her is unbelievable. Before arriving, Mum was spending most days and nights alone at home, with visitors during
the day. Now she's taking part in activities we never imagined she would try - chair yoga, chair Zumba, exercise sessions, and social mealtimes with other residents. She's far more alert, engaged, and genuinely enjoying herself.
Her room is lovely, and the staff couldn't be any nicer - warm, friendly, caring, and truly dedicated to the residents' wellbeing. You can clearly see how much they care. The home itself is beautiful, welcoming, and has such a positive atmosphere.
We are now hoping Mum can stay long-term, as we feel confident this will be the right place for her. Thank you to all the staff at Rosaburn - you have made an incredible difference, we are truly grateful!
