We are really pleased with the support and care that our mother is experiencing at Clarkston House. The staff are warm and loving, and well trained to support patients with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

The facilities are also wonderful.

I have received excellent care and support from all staff during my stay. Everyone has been friendly, kind and efficient, making me feel welcome. The staff organised a private dining experience for my birthday with the other residents, which made me feel truly spoiled. As I was staying at Clarkston House for respite, I have been greatly supported to maintain my independence, which will benefit me on my return home. My en-suite room has been beautifully decorated to very high standards and I have enjoyed taking daily walks in the lovely garden. Overall I have had a wonderful experience at Clarkston House and would happily recommend it to my friends and family.

Really happy with the care my mum receives at Clarkston Care Home. The staff are all lovely + treat my mum with such dignity + respect. Although she has dementia, she appears very content with staying at the home.

I've been very impressed by Clarkston House. The most important aspect is the care. Staff treat residents with respect and care. They engage with residents with sensitivity, kindness and good humour. The clinical care seems good and communication about my relative's health has been very good. Real efforts have been made by the care home to cater for what matters to my relative. The activities provided are great and designed to promote wellbeing. The management team are approachable and helpful. All of this provides reassurance about my relative's wellbeing and her future care.

Our family could not be happier with the care my mother has received at Northcare Residences. Being a family-owned care home truly makes a difference. There is a genuine warmth throughout the home, and everyone treats the residents with the kindness, respect, and compassion you would hope your own family would receive.

The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They take the time to get to know each resident personally and go above and beyond to make everyone feel valued, safe, and comfortable. It is evident that they genuinely love what they do.

The accommodations are beautiful, welcoming, and impeccably maintained, creating a lovely place to call home. We are also so impressed by the wide variety of activities offered every day, which keep residents engaged, active, and socially connected.

As a visitor I look forward to coming here and sharing the lovely environment whilst catching up with my parents. Every space is fantastic, classy and comfortable. I look forward to joining them in some of the brilliant activities Northcare arrange every morning and afternoon.

Eight months ago when Mum could no longer live independently at home, the search commenced for an excellent care home for her. Clarkston House has provided the 5 star care that her family sought. Mum has been treated with dignity, respect, kindness and humour from management and staff. They have shown an interest in her life story from her arrival. There is a welcome for the family when they visit and updates are offered on mum's day, what she eats, her health or concerns, and tea and biscuits/cakes are always offered. Any concerns or suggestions that the family have are acted upon immediately by all staff and management. Mum's bright and airy bedroom suite looks onto a patio and garden area. Clarkston House is decorated throughout to a high standard, with a cinema, a hairdressers and a cocktail/events room. It is clean and comfortable for its residents who can get together in the sitting room, for dining, socialising, activities or watching TV. Mum enjoys the yoga/dancing and musical activities. To conclude, this is all providing Mum with the best quality of care at this stage in her life.

My Aunt was in Clarkston House for 16 months. When she arrived, the staff all called in to see her and introduced themselves. They were all like family and they couldn't have done enough for her. She didn't take part in many of the activities but there were plenty to choose from. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done! The food was lovely and she enjoyed the cakes with her afternoon tea. If we arrived at the right time, we got one too! The staff at Clarkston House not only supported my aunt, but supported us, her family too. We got a warm welcome at reception and also from the nurses and carers upstairs. As my aunt got more frail the staff were so caring and attentive . I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarkston House to anyone thinking of putting a loved one into care.

My Mum enjoys the food which is home made on the premises and has put on weight since she arrived, which was much needed.

I can't thank Clarkston House enough for the wonderful care they have given my brother over the past six months. The management and staff have all been so kind and friendly to us all.

We are very impressed with the care home. The building, decor and facilities are beautiful and maintained to a very high standard. The restaurant, cinema and hairdresser all help create a warm and welcoming environment, and the private dining room is especially lovely for family visits and celebrations. Sam in hospitality goes above and beyond making everyone feel special.

The staff are attentive and genuinely try to make residents feel at home, there is a warm atmosphere throughout. Daily activities are varied, some could offer more engagement. Caroline, Erin and Ellie have supported mum building her confidence and trust.

We receive excellent service from the General Manager (Jordan), front of house (Darren), who are always approachable, professional and supportive.

The only area where we feel improvement could be made is the standard of the everyday resident meals, which could better match the otherwise very high standards of the home.

Overall, a first class cate home.

The staff are kind, patient, and attentive, and they always make time to keep me informed. Most importantly, I feel confident that my mother is in safe hands, which gives me real peace of mind. The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I am grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown every day.

The staff team have been amazing with my Dad. He has needed additional support recently and has been so well cared for. The team have also been amazing at keeping us informed at every step and caring for us along the way as well.

My Dad has now been living at Clarkston House for around 9 months and I could not be happier with the progress he has made since moving in. Obviously the dementia means his mental faculties are only going to deteriorate at this point in his life, but any decline has slowed significantly. Being part of the community at Clarkston House has only been beneficial. He is also enjoying a much better diet, his weight has increased and he is overall looking healthier and happier. All the staff are fantastic and the old man could not be in better hands. A big thank you to everyone at Clarkston House.

Clarkston House staff continue to provide the highest levels of care and support for my father. He is kept in the best possible health and surroundings. Hygiene, safety and welfare are always top priorities. He has been in care there for over 3 years now. I have no hesitation in commending and recommending Northcare as a care provider.

Her needs are very much looked after and she is comfortable and happy in the care of Clarkston Care Home.

My mother had a 10 day period of respite at Clarkston House following a short hospital stay. She was greeted warmly with staff introducing themselves by their first name. Her room was well-furnished, warm and bright. We initially thought she may require a 'hospital' bed but the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. She was very well-attended by nursing, care and domestic staff. She wasn't feeling well enough to take advantage of the programme of activities however she benefitted from the visiting hairdressers.

Overall the team have ensured an enjoyable and smooth settling in period for my uncle. All staff have been excellent and attentive to his needs. Excellent amenities and service since his arrival. My uncle is very happy with his new home and the overall support he gets.
