Darren’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry spans from 2003 to 2009, where he worked in various prestigious restaurants and hotels. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in customer service, honing his ability to manage high-pressure situations while maintaining exceptional standards of service. This background in the restaurant and hotel sector provided him with valuable skills in guest relations, event coordination, and front-of-house operations.

Building on this experience, Darren joined Northcare in 2010, where he has continuously worked to improve and develop the front-of-house service. His diverse background in the hospitality industry, combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, allows him to offer residents and their families a seamless and high-quality experience. Darren’s dedication to service excellence and his ability to anticipate and address the needs of those he serves have made him a trusted and valued team member at Northcare.

Kirsty has been part of the Northcare team for the past two years and brings with her over 15 years of nursing experience. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong clinical background and a wealth of practical knowledge, which is reflected in the high standard of care she provides to residents on a daily basis.

During her time with Northcare, Kirsty has become a valued and dependable member of the nursing team. She consistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion and a calm approach in her work, supporting both residents and colleagues while maintaining a strong focus on quality care and safety.

Her experience allows her to manage complex clinical situations with confidence, while also providing reassurance and guidance to residents and their families. Kirsty’s approachable nature and commitment to person-centred care ensure that residents feel supported, respected, and well looked after at all times.

Alison joined the business in April 2025, having spent many years caring for a private client in Switzerland. During that time, she developed a wealth of experience in providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals with dignity, compassion and professionalism.

Since joining Northcare, Alison has quickly become a valued member of the team. Her strong care background, calm approach and genuine commitment to supporting residents have made her a real asset within Northcare Residences. Alison brings a great deal of knowledge and practical experience to her role, and she consistently demonstrates the warmth and attentiveness that are so important in delivering excellent care.

Michael has been part of the Northcare team since 2022, bringing with him valuable experience gained from working across several of our other Northcare homes over the years. During this time, he has developed a strong understanding of the Northcare approach to care and hospitality, and he is a well-known and respected member of the wider team. His familiarity with our homes and residents allows him to provide a high standard of support while contributing positively to the day-to-day life within the community.

Anthony leads a committed team of three staff members, ensuring that our clients receive nutritionally balanced meals tailored to their individual dietary requirements. His focus remains on delivering exceptional, personalised nutrition.

Beyond overseeing daily meal preparation, Anthony plays a key role in coordinating special events for clients and their families. These include private dining experiences, summer barbecues, and innovative chef-led activities such as ‘Chef's Masterclass’, themed evenings celebrating international cuisines, and monthly cheese and wine afternoons. Tony also involves clients through focus groups, allowing them to contribute to shaping future menu options.

Anthony brings a wealth of culinary expertise and leadership to his role, having previously spent almost 25 years as Head Chef at Celtic Football Club & Manchester Utd respectively. He lead a talented team, delivering nutritionally balanced and performance-optimising meals to players, staff, and special guests. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every dish supports peak athletic performance while maintaining exceptional flavour and quality. In addition to overseeing daily meal service, Anthony curated specialised menus for match days, training camps, and high-profile club events. His innovative approach introduces diverse, globally inspired dishes, ensuring variety while meeting the unique dietary needs of professional athletes.
