The staff have all gone out of their way at the centre to make Tim have a good time. The management of the rotas has been super and all requested adjustments accommodated well. Can't praise or thank them enough.

I am extremely happy with the level of care and support Jane and her team provide in a safe and happy environment with well-thought-out themes and activities which Jim really enjoys and benefits greatly from. Knowing Jim is happy allows me time to relax.

My husband has been attending Day Care for a year now, initially twice a fortnight, but he now attends twice a week. I am so delighted with the wonderful care and support that he gets and how kind the staff are and accommodating of his dementia needs. The staff are always willing to go the extra mile for him and he was a wide variety of trips to keep him engaged.

I have always found the staff at Radfield Care to be 100% caring, attentive and reassuring, both to my husband and myself (carer).
My husband attends day care three times a month. They do a lot of varied activities. He is always content when I pick him up.

Overall Experience
My husband looks forward to his visits to the day centre every week, he has little mobility (uses a wheelchair) and is very deaf but staff do their utmost to include him in all the activities. They also give him space if he is feeling overwhelmed when it gets busy.

My husband has been attending the Radfield Day Unit now for quite some time and really looks forward to going, which is now twice a week. He even marks it on the calendar so I won't forget to take him! They provide many activities, which are very creative and engaging. I have found this to be a real help to me, knowing I can leave him with them, where he will be occupied and taken good care of by very experienced and caring staff.

We would like to introduce you to Karen, Operations Manager for Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury and Oswestry. Karen supports, manages, guides and directs the care management team and undertakes Operations Manager work in the local communities that the office services.
Karen joined Radfield as a business development manager in February 2021, having spent over 35 years within the retail and customer service sector, most recently as a department store manager for a well-known high street store. Alongside this, Karen worked with various charities, befriending societies, community groups and local care homes, making her best placed to take up the role of Operations Manager.
