Vesta Lodge care home includes an Adult Day Care Centre which provides care during the day for older people who live in the local community. Guests can book as many days as they wish, depending upon the opening schedule of the centre.
During the day, the centre provides care which is delivered by well-trained compassionate staff, as well as activities, a nutritious meal, snacks and refreshments.
The home’s chef can provide a range of meals that cater to varying dietary requirements.

My husband has been going to Vesta lodge Day Centre for almost three years. He has Alzheimer's dementia and used to enjoy all the activities but he has deteriorated over the last nine months so doesn't take part so much now, although the staff do try to encourage him. My husband has been going to Vesta lodge Day Centre for almost three years. He has Alzheimer's dementia and used to enjoy all the activities but he has deteriorated over the last nine months so doesn't take part so much now, although the staff do try to encourage him. He does love to sing, a little too loud sometimes. Sometimes Ron needs help with his lunch and they are always on hand to help him. The attitude of the staff hasn't changed towards him over the last three years, always encouraging him to do things. They are so patient and I admire them greatly. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way he is looked after.
