I can not praise this facility and the staff there enough, they are a credit to themselves. My uncle has been a resident here for approx 3 years and I am so glad he was lucky enough to get the opportunity to live at Llys Eleanor. The staff and management have treated him like family, always looking
out for him and ensuring he could be as independent for as long as possible. Nothing has ever been too much and the support to myself has been so very important. I would highly recommend Llys Eleanor to anyone, the residents are all lovely and I have spoken with many families there and all we can ever do is praise all at Llys Eleanor for the commitment and personal touch you see daily for their residents.

As the Manager of Llys Eleanor and her team work tirelessly to ensure that individuals accommodated have the opportunity to live in a service that supports and promotes independence and maintains skills with social care support delivered on-site by our Local Authority partners if required. We appreciate your feedback and time in completing the review and will ensure this is shared with all staff at the service. Supporting family members and other close contacts is a priority to ensure key relationships can be maintained. It is really encouraging to hear and our hope for all individuals moving into extra care services and their family members.

I have visited my sister over the last couple of years and 99 per cent of the time been let in by a resident or member of the public, which I find unsafe. The manager and staff have a habit of leaving me sitting in reception and do not respond to my requests for assistance. Very poor and rude. Not a
nice place to visit.

Thank you for your feedback and opportunity to respond. I'm sorry this has been your experience and would like to take the opportunity to explain that ClwydAlyn act as the housing management for Llys Eleanor, which is an independent living scheme for people aged 60 plus. Care and Support for those that require additional support as not fully independent is via the Local Authority. If there is an issue accessing your family member by the main entrance to the service then we can support with repairs or you can request an access fob with the agreement of your family member. We will make tenants aware of the risks you have raised of them letting visitors into the service and their home.
I'm sorry you feel the response the team have made is rude and not our intention within an independent scheme for ClwydAlyn tenants. If you have concerns regarding your family member however please speak with the manager who can provide solutions regarding your future access.

Visited my sister-in-law and enjoyed lunch with her. Very tasty meal, most enjoyable. Impressed with the staff that I met, very friendly and cheerful, as were the residents that I spoke to. My sister-in-law's apartment was excellent. She is enjoying every moment especially the film club. I was fortunate
to be one of the official guests back in 2009 when Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal officially opened Llys Eleanor. My first visit since then, most impressed with how the place has matured. Excellent work by all involved.

My Gran moved here a few years ago and seems to have a renewed purpose, she has a more active social calendar than me, attending the garden club and baking lessons and even movie screenings on site, the staff are welcoming and helpful and are attentive. Keep up the good work guys and gals.
