Deben View

My mother has been at Deben View for the last 18 months. During this time she has adapted to her new life and settled in well with other tenants and staff. Up until the outbreak of the Covid 19 virus, she enjoyed many of the activities that took place throughout the week. Needless to say, life changed for everybody once Lockdown commenced and staff and tenants all had to adapt. Hence this review, I would like to thank everybody involved in the day-to-day care of the tenants from cleaning, laundry, caring and mental well-being of your charges you have done a grand job. The care and support received by the tenants have been outstanding. It has not gone unnoticed the extra hours that staff put in to ensure nobody missed out on their care. Even when the virus crept into Deben View you were on it and dealt with it quickly and got things under control, Staff putting their own health at risk to care for others goes above and beyond. Thank you for caring.

Very helpful staff - Convenient and cheap guest suite (a shower fitting would be useful). Beautiful gardens. Medication dispensed at regular times (and on time, importantly). Some difficulty understanding the accents of agency staff while I was there.

My Grandmother lived at Deben View for almost 4 years. The standard of care provided was excellent. The Care staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure she received the best care available. In her last weeks of life, they popped in whenever they were passing her room and supported my Mum and Dad to an exceptional level. I myself am a nursing home manager and expect a high level of care for my residents and I could not fault Nana's care at all. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for all they have done.
