Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House is a Supported Living service which comprises of 8 self-contained flats each with a bedroom, lounge, separate kitchen and separate bathroom (wet room/shower room), 4 of the flats are on the ground floor and 4 are on the first floor.

3 of the upstairs flats have 2 bedrooms so could be suited to someone who may require their own sleep-in staff member, someone who requires an element of 2:1 support or someone who just requires some extra space.

The service is staffed 24 hours a day with a core of 2 staff to 8 tenants and is able to support people with the following diagnosis and any associated behaviours/conditions:

-        Moderate to severe learning disabilities.
-        Autism (requiring higher levels of support with daily living skills, communication and accessing the community)
-        Other neurodiverse needs including people with pathological demand avoidance, ADHD, dyspraxia, sensory processing difficulties, significant social anxieties or secondary mental health conditions.
-        Acquired brain injury.
-        Health conditions including epilepsy & diabetes.
-        Behaviours that may challenge including physical/verbal aggression & self-injurious behaviours (not including any ligaturing)
-        People with complex needs/behaviours that struggle to live with others.
-        People with complex needs/behaviours that may be at risk if living with others.
