Job summary
We are a small personal care home with 31 beds set in lovely grounds with a view of the Aire Valley supporting people with general physical needs and dementia. We have been established since 1985, we currently have an excellent relationship with external bodies and a current award of 'GOOD' by the Care Quality Commission. The management team 'understand care and practice compassion' in all aspects of care delivery and we seek a like-minded qualified nurse to join our family.

Job description:
- Provide high standards of care delivery in line with NMC guidance,
- Safe administration of medications
- Effective teamwork and organisational skills to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of care
- To be able to recognise changing needs to residents and plan care appropriately

Essential requirement:
- Valid NMC PIN
- Valid and recognised NUrsing Qualification
- Organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Caring and empathetic nature
- Teamwork and leadership skills
Desirable:
- Experience in care homes
- Experience working with people with dementia (training will be given)
- Understanding of care plan process
- Catheter, PEG feed and Syringe driver clinical skills
- Wound care
- Use of information technology - computerised care plan systems
