Starting salary £14.50 per hour

We are looking for a part time cook to cover 24 hours a week, including alternate weekends. Weekend hours will be 7am – 2pm, the remaining hours will be during the week.

Main Duties of our Assistant Chefs/Cooks; 

  • To prepare food and cook in a hygienic manner. Help come up with ideas for meals and mealtimes.
  • To be aware of the residents’ dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
  • To hold a suitable food and hygiene certificate.
  • To dispose of waste correctly.
  • To ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
  • To contribute in the serving of food.
  • To perform other such reasonable duties as may be required.

Skills and Experience of our Assistant Chefs/Cooks;

  • Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
  • High level of written and spoken English
