Purpose-built on the foundations of a country farm complex, within a beautiful 300-acre Hampshire countryside estate, Oak Lodge is a quintessentially British care home blending state-of-the-art facilities and stimulating environments with a homely atmosphere and family approach to person-centred care.

Residents enjoy beautiful farmland views from their luxury bedrooms equipped with ensuite facilities, spacious communal for entertaining and dining, glazed walkways, a dedicated activities room, hair salon and family room. Outside, a landscaped garden, quaint summer house, tranquil flower courtyard with water feature and a raised herb garden tended to by the residents’ gardening club, provide outdoor space for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.

My mum has been in Oak Lodge for 4 weeks respite with the hope of later becoming a full time resident. Mum has dementia and obviously finding it all very different and a bit anxious at times,
all staff have been very caring and understanding of mum's needs.
Paying particular attention to her likes
and dislikes and with the option to join in with activities if she wishes, she is encouraged but not forced and I have been so pleased to see her joining in. The manageress is always happy to discuss any issues and resolve them promptly.
Oak Lodge has many bright and airy spaces, the dining area is like a restaurant and the food is excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and gardens and surrounding area is beautiful.
Not only have the staff and especially the Manageress been so nice to mum, but also very supportive and nice to me too at a time of tough changes in our lives.
I would be extremely happy if mum could continue living here and i'd be happy to recommend Oak Lodge to anyone

My mother has been at Oak Lodge for about 3 years and I am so very glad that she's a resident there. All the Oak Lodge staff- admin, nurses, carers, maintenance etc...genuinely seem to care for her, and it's situated in a beautiful environment. She feels safe , looked after, and has made lots of friends
there, enjoying a wealth of different activities, from poetry reading, singing in their choir to floor curling!
In addition they have visitations from a host of different furry/feathered friends: alpacas, guinea pigs, birds of prey and so on.
School children regularly visit for chats, singing and making cards, and singers, musicians and dancers also entertain.
I am so blessed that she's enjoying her new home, thank you Oak Lodge for providing outstanding care and support to mum.

Really glad we found Oak Lodge for my mother's care. There is no doubt that she is well looked after in her twilight years, and has always said that she is happy here, which is a great weight off our minds.
The place is always bright, warm and airy and, along with the gardens, always well kept. The
staff are amazing, friendly and always know my mother (and us), by name, providing lots of varied entertainment for the residents, catering for their varied needs.
The impression, over the past three years, has always been one of a well managed and happy place, for which we are very grateful!

Our 99-year-old mum has been at Oak Lodge for 18 months, and every time we see her she tells us how lucky she is to be in such a lovely home, and looked after by such caring people.
She has made so many friends and enjoys all the activities that are provided, from gardening, crafts, musicians, singers,
nursery group visits, and she has joined the choir.
The care is exceptional, the setting in beautiful grounds is perfect and the catering is amazing. We would love to thank everyone at Oak Lodge for everything they do for her .

Oak Lodge is the best care home. It is clean, calm and friendly all the time. My mum feels cared for and safe. I know that she is so well looked after. Her wishes are respected and she lives comfortably. We are both well known by the friendly staff who go out of their way regularly to make us smile.

Outstanding care and attention from all the management team and staff.
Know that mum is so very well cared for and has settled in well since arriving in July 2023.
She in turn feels she receives great support and care.

My dear 88-year-old elderly mother recently completed a five-week respite stay at Oak Lodge. I cannot speak highly enough of the love, care, patience and personal attention which she received during her stay. Oak Lodge itself is a home of the highest quality, very well kept, set in beautiful surroundings,
offering a quality of care and kindness which is embedded in all staff, at all levels, from the top down. My mother, with early-stage dementia, and not entirely appreciating the full extent of help she needs, is not the easiest character to manage and work around. Everyone at Oak Lodge settled her in beautifully, and she had a wonderful time, she could not have been treated with greater care and consideration. All of the management and staff are friendly, helpful and straightforward, the administration is first-class. I would highly recommend Oak Lodge to anyone seeking top-quality care for a loved one in a beautiful, countryside setting with excellent modern facilities.

On entering Oak Lodge, beautiful gardens lift your spirits. Inside is clean and bright everywhere.
Mum and Dad were always in fresh clothes, and medication was meticulously given. Home-made cake mid-afternoon.
There's plenty of fun too; one day two penguins came to visit and one called Widget sat
on Dad's lap.
Then they waddled off to explore the home! As Dad said: 'At Oak Lodge you can still have amazing new experiences even when you're 93!'
But the staff make this place; in truth, I have never been anywhere with so many kind, patient, and competent
people under one roof. I've learned a lot from them.
I'm so glad that Mum and Dad's last months were made so comfortable, and in turn, this leaves me feeling very happy.

The family made an informed choice when we applied to Oak Lodge for residence for my 90-year-old wife in 2022, and we have been very well rewarded for the trouble we took to find the best home for her. She quickly settled and greatly appreciates the care that she is receiving. We've been particularly
grateful for the way that Oak Lodge has liaised with us as a family and the support the staff have given me personally in adjusting to living without my wife, whom I've known for nearly 80 years.

My sister has been at Oak Lodge for over 7 years. Oak Lodge have taken good care my sister for all these years and the Staff and Management are all approachable. We always feel free to discuss any concerns about my sister and they always listen and do all they can to help.


My only regret is that,

given my sister is bedbound, she is unable to enjoy the beautiful surroundings outside her room.


I have no hesitation in recommending Oak Lodge to anyone looking for a good care home for their loved one.

Mum has been at Oak Lodge for six weeks, respite care that has been extended. I knew some of the team before mum went to Oak Lodge, and that is probably one of the main reasons we chose it. However, every member of team I have met has been friendly, professional, caring and knowledgeable, I can not
praise them enough.
Mum's general appearance has improved dramatically and in the last week, they have seen Mum through a nasty little bug with care and concern for her.
I know that Mum is being well looked after and I also know that the team are there for both her and me.

Our mum, grandma and aunt arrived at Oak Lodge Care Home just before Christmas 2017 with a very poor prognosis after a massive stroke.
Here we are, six years later, and with the additional handicap of being registered blind and Mum is still going strong thanks to the patience, kindness and care of
the whole team at Oak Lodge.
In spite of the things that restrict her, Mum is so well-supported in the things she can do. The stand-out thing recently is her participation in the poetry sessions. She has always been a lover of poetry and I am so pleased that this is one of the many things the activity team supports.
From top to bottom, the staff are always helpful, kind and communicative. We feel very lucky that Mum is at Oak Lodge, we could never look after her considerable needs the way the home does. We were so impressed at the way they handled Covid too, in spite of government incompetence.
I am very happy to wholeheartedly commend the management and hard work of this exemplary nursing home.

Oak Lodge is extremely well-managed by the manager. She is a true diplomat, and it makes such a difference. My father has lived there for two years, and all the staff respect his requests and have put his art on the wall to make it as much like home as possible. He is taken to dinner and supper and
events to ensure he always has company.
He does find the evenings rather isolated back in his room, but he uses the computer. He has suggested a “pub” is installed where residents could meet in the evenings. A wonderful care home overall. The staff are second to none and go to great lengths to ensure comfort for the residents

I have been impressed with Oak Lodge since my first contact with the manager. She was so accommodating and understanding of our situation. She offered respite care, which resulted in my mother being so at ease and comfortable that she made that important decision to make Oak Lodge her home. The staff

It’s a job to know where to start in complimenting Oak Lodge. The word ‘care’ in a care home isn’t sufficient to describe the care, love and attention everyone receives at Oak Lodge. Oak Lodge provided absolutely outstanding care for my father for the last 15 months of his life.
I feel that he was embraced into a large, loving extended family. He was always treated with dignity, understanding and compassion by all members of the staff, whatever their role in the home. Nothing
was too much trouble to sort out or address.
He also enjoyed really good fun theme days, BBQs and Summer garden parties, usually involving excellent quality food, which he relished. Dad was only there for one birthday, but decorating his room and having a birthday cake at tea, exemplified the extra mile and thoughtful personal touches Oak Lodge provided.
In short, I cannot speak highly enough of the professional management, great teamwork and wonderful, dedicated nurses and carers, and am recommending Oak Lodge to anybody in need of the highest quality home.

My sister has been a resident at Oak Lodge Nursing Home for over three years, which came about as a result of the death of her husband after 50 years of a truly happy marriage.
During her time at Oak Lodge, she has received the most wonderful care, courtesy and consideration that we could have ever
wished for from every member of the staff, who all have that natural warmth and welcoming disposition which are so necessary to make the residents feel that they are living in a safe home from home environment. I know that my sister is very happy being there as she continues to enjoy the autumn of her life.
I am so very, very grateful for the outstanding care she has received at Oak Lodge.
