Job summary
The Role...
We are looking for an experienced Cook or Chef to join our friendly team at our beautiful Residential Home in Liss Forest.
Duties...
Working opposite our head chef, you will be required to cater for up to 32 residents and staff for breakfast, lunch and supper.
You will need to have good attention to detail so that the food is tasty and presentable.
You must have good knowledge of infection prevention and control to ensure the kitchen is a safe environment, completing daily cleaning schedules and other kitchen paperwork.
Good communication skills are required for this role, as you will need to work closely with colleagues across the Home. Good interpersonal skills are essential.
Previous experience within a care home environment is desirable due to the nature of the position. We are also happy to support a college student or someone who wishes to re-train with an NVQ or equivellant Chef qualification.
