Job summary
We are seeking an cook to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for our residents while maintaining high standards of food hygiene.
Previous experience of working in a food preparation environment, together with a sound understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards, would be highly desirable.
The hours available are:
Friday: 3.00pm - 6.00pm (supper)
Saturday: 8.00am - 2.00pm alternate weeks (lunch) and 3.00pm - 6.00pm each week (supper)
Sunday: 8.00am - 2.00pm (lunch) and 3.00pm - 6.00pm (supper)

Skills / Qualifications:
- • Experience of working in a commercial kitchen desirable
- • Experience of cooking/preparing food for large numbers
- • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- • Excellent team player
- • Ability to work on own initiative
- • General interest in working within a caring environment
- • Food Hygiene Certificate
- or a willingness to undertake
- • Understanding of Safer Food
- Better Business management procedures
