Overview

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated appropriately to minimise waste
- Assist with serving food to residents or guests as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during food handling and preparation
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience working in a catering setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if necessary
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service excellence
