Administrator – Heeley Bank Care Home, Sheffield

We are recruiting for an Administrator to join our team at Heeley Bank Residential and Nursing Home in Sheffield (S2).

Heeley Bank provides residential and nursing care for 67 people, supporting older adults and those living with dementia. We are proud to offer a supportive environment for both our residents and staff teams.
As Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home. You will be responsible for a range of administrative and financial tasks, while acting as a central point of contact for staff, residents, relatives, and external professionals. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Administrator
  • Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
  • Rate of Pay: Up to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Location: Heeley Bank Road, Sheffield, S2.
  • We are not able to provide sponsorship

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client and staff files, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Prepare and distribute reports, ensuring all required information is delivered accurately and within deadlines
  • Process payroll - ensuring accurate calculations and share with the finance team within deadlines
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including maintaining and updating staff rotas
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, onboarding processes, and liaising with managers
  • Deliver a professional and welcoming experience for clients, visitors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced administrator who is passionate about working in a caring environment and making a difference to people's lives. This is a varied, fast-paced, and rewarding role, so you'll need to be organised, adaptable, and able to manage priorities effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workloads, and work well under pressure.
  • A positive, proactive approach and a commitment to delivering excellent support within a caring and compassionate environment.
