We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our outstanding care team. As a Senior on the team, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the people who live here, while ensuring the team is supported and guided by your skills and experience. We are looking for someone with patience, compassion and a genuine desire to support vulnerable people. This is for day shifts (0800-1400, 1400-2000, 0800-2000).

About the Job:
- This post is for a full-time Senior Care Assistant with alternate weekends.
- 30 to 42 hours per week with an opportunity to boost your hours by covering extra shifts such as holidays or sickness.
Skills desirable for this post.
- Previous experience working in social care with vulnerable people.
- Experience in administering and ordering medication.
- Experience in leading or supporting a small team.
- Able to delegate and communicate effectively when reporting to your line Manager and
- when needing to talk to GPs and other health professionals.
Job Requirements:
- The successful applicant must hold a level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
- An enhanced clear DBS is essential for this post.
- To attend and complete training relevant to your position.
