Job Summary

Senior Care Assistant Days- Required for our brand-new care home opening in September 2026, Southcote Lodge Care Home, Lodge Lane, Nettleham, Lincolnshire. Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: 44 Hours per week available, working weekends on rota

Southcote Lodge Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built 65-bed care home. Located in the village of Nettleham, north-east of Lincoln, the care home is ideally situated for families across Lincolnshire. Southcote Lodge Care Home offers a peaceful yet well-connected setting, making it convenient for friends and relatives to visit regularly.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
  • Supporting residents at mealtime
  • Mentor & assist new employees.
  • Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents' specific needs.
  • Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU
We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us to create the best person-centred environment for our residents. You'll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude.
  • Experience of administering medication 
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this.
  • Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
