Home Manager (Registered Nurse)

36 hours per week | Start date: 1 January 2027
Apley Grange is a highly regarded female-only residential and nursing home in Harrogate, providing exceptional residential, dementia, respite and end-of-life care. Set in beautiful secluded gardens close to The Stray, we are proud of our outstanding reputation for delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
Following the retirement of our long-serving Home Manager, we're looking for an experienced and inspiring Registered Nurse to lead the home through an exciting period of refurbishment and future growth.
With staff turnover below 5%, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Home Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step.

The Role
As Home Manager, you'll provide visible, hands-on leadership, ensuring outstanding care, regulatory compliance and an exceptional experience for residents and their families. You'll also help grow occupancy by building strong relationships with local health professionals and the wider community.
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN)
- At least four years' experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a 50+ bed care home
- Strong knowledge of dementia, nursing and end-of-life care
- Proven CQC compliance and leadership experience
- Experience managing budgets, change and organisational growth
- Ability to build relationships with commissioners and healthcare professionals
- Commercial awareness with a track record of increasing occupancy
- Right to work in the UK
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable.
