What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
• At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65
• Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia
• Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show empathy to people under your car
• Opportunities Available:
• Senior Care Assistant at 42 hours per week to work from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
• Senior Night Care Assistant at 48 hours per week to work from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends

A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant

• Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
• Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
• Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
• Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
• Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and
