When we visit as a family, they always make our visit as streamlined as possible, and on the special occasions when the whole family comes together (Christmas, birthday, etc), they clear, prepare and sometimes decorate an entire backroom just for us. Everyone at Greenhive acts with such professionalism.

My wife was diagnosed with dementia Alzheimer's 5 years ago and I cared for her at home no problems for those 5 years until our children noticed I was becoming more & more visibly distressed & said I should release mum to an appropriate affordable care home. My wife is completely self funding for her care & ground floor ensuite room which although is excellent, to me is larger than necessary for her needs (it was the only suitable available room at the time of her joining). A less expensive suitable ground floor room would be appreciated. All grades of staff from the manager down are very helpful, accommodating, caring, cheerful & approachable. The local GP/nurses visit weekly, medication is distributed as required by dedicated care staff. Hairdressing/chiropody is also done. The care home building appears well maintained as do the gardens, access roads & parking. Telephone access to the care home is good. Finally laundry is carried out daily!

Overall care of my mother is well managed currently, however there has been inconsistencies at times when it comes to understanding my mother's needs but after highlighting concerns these concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Staff are on the whole attentive and meet my mother's needs with care and attention. The home provides excellent activities including live music and quality entertainment. I think it would also be beneficial for more day trips out, weather permitting.
On the whole I am happy with the day to day my mother receives.

We have been impressed with the Henlow court team right from the initial contact, assessment and the transition period. We were able to secure a room chosen by my Mum which feels homely and with views of the escarpment. She has been able to install a bird feeder and window box.

We have been impressed with the Henlow court team right from the initial contact, assessment and the transition period. We were able to secure a room chosen by my Mum which feels homely and with views of the escarpment. She has been able to install a bird feeder and window box. The staff are consistently attentive to Mums needs which can be challenging with Parkinson's. Overall the environment is friendly and relaxed. We are impressed with the cleanliness and the food cooked on site. Mum has used the visiting hairdresser and podiatrist and greatly enjoyed an Elvis tribute!
The parent company Agincare are very efficient and easy to deal with.

The few weeks my mum was in Swan House she was very well looked after and cared for , with compassion and dignity , The whole team was amazing and I can't thank them enough for caring for my mum, they made it feel like home.

St Peter's has provided excellent care for my wife over the last 4 years. The staff have showed real care and attention to her needs even at her most challenging. St Peter's has provided excellent care for my wife over the last 4 years. The staff have showed real care and attention to her needs even at her most challenging. They receive me warmly when I visit and it is pleasing to see that the turnover of staff is extremely low indicating a well run home. I am kept informed of any changes or developments of her needs and always ask for my approval should these need change in any way. Thank you for all you do, it's a great comfort to me and the family.

It is a pleasure to visit Beaufort House with its warm and friendly atmosphere and elegant architecture. One has the feeling that nothing is too much trouble and attention to detail makes for a calm and happy environment. My cousin has been a resident for nearly a year: his beautiful room and kindness of the staff helped him to settle instantly and since his arrival he has taken on a new lease of life. He enjoys the food and beverages, the musical entertainment, the in-house activities, the outings, the companionship, the any-time visits from his family and friends, and the kind welcome they receive, the parties and the fun! Even though members of staff are incredibly busy, they work with cheerfulness and a good sense of humour. Beaufort House is a care home with a capital C.
