Admiralty Care Home

from Gary F (Son of Resident) published on 12 June 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
The Admiralty Care Home is a geat example of how a care home should be. It is welcoming, clean, tidy, well provisioned and has a dedicated team to ensure that Mum is looked after. The only slightly negative comments are that the general temperature in the home and in mum's room in particular is too
high and the introduction of the lift code was unfortuante (although necessary) for those like Mum whose movement is a bit more restricted. Overall myself and the family are very pleased with the care Mum is receiving although she is taking a while to fully settle. Keep up the good work!

My mother moved into Greenhive at the end of 2025. The experience has been excellent from the start. The staff have tried to encourage her independence the support has been compassionate and professional. The staff are approachable, friendly and attentive to her daily needs. The facilities are clean
and well maintained.

Agincourt is an honest and welcoming setting. Staff are professional and friendly, working with others, such as GP, when needed.
Dad is very grumpy, but he is supported by cheerful and caring support assistants.

My mother is a difficult woman by nature. All the staff have done an excellent job looking after her and supporting her.
A big thank you to all of them at this difficult family time.
The food is fantastic and the place is spotless and everyone is friendly. My mother has been treated with respect,
dignity with great care and attention. I have been given tea and made to feel comfortable as I live in Rochester Kent.

Since mum moved in to edgehill we have found the level of dementia care to be superb. The staff have shown empathy at every turn of mums Journey and been there to support not just mum but me as well. I would highly recommend agincare edgehill to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. I
have found a degree of peace knowing mum is being very well looked after.

My grandmother is a resident at Gorseway manor. I have nothing but good things to say about the care she receives. The staff are all warm and friendly. The residents are always kept entertained with crafts and other activities. It's a very welcoming home and I am extremely happy with the care she receives

We are delighted to hear that your grandmother is happy and well cared for at Gorseway Manor. Our team work very hard to create a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, comfortable, and engaged, so it is wonderful to know this is being recognised.
Your kind words about our staff and the activities we provide will be shared with the team, as feedback like this really lifts their spirits and reinforces the importance of the work they do every day.
Thank you again for your support and trust in us - it is a privilege to care for your grandmother.
