I could not have asked for a more dedicated care home for my husband, I had great peace of mind, knowing that he was in a safe place, surrounded by people who cared for him as if he were past of their family. Each and everyone one of you provided exceptional care. Unfortunately my husband is no longer
with us but I know he would want me to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care, kindness and the love you showed my husband. With heartfelt thanks.
My husband 12/4/43 - 16/7/25

I found this care home to be very clean & spacious with a good clean layout. Bedroom is of a very good size with also a good sized bathroom/toilet. Living/dining room had a good layout, with easy access to the back gardens - which are well kept and well maintained. Staff are very professional & friendly.

Tilford Care & Nursing Home

from J F (Husband of Resident) published on 12 August 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My wife and I found a calm, welcoming atmosphere at the grange Tilford. The caring staff were so helpful and kind, treating all residents with dignity no matter what their needs or demands were asked of them, often before the resident was aware of help. Excellent caring and nursing staff. Safe mobility
always encouraged, with good access to garden and court yard with good seating and shade. Various activities. From colouring/drawing, games, topical and "past times of ago" questionnaires were very popular. Dancing with entertainers offering music. Very good BBQ, good varied meals, all from in house kitchen. Super afternoon sponges and cakes. Hydration always encouraged. Excellent staff from carers nurses and reception.

Reply from Lisa Kirtland, Tilford Manager at Tilford Care & Nursing Home

Thank you and your lovely staff for making Mum's transition to full time care so easy, showing patience and kindness at all times
Mum feels settled, happy and very well cared for and this is down to you and all at Gainsborough - we can't thank you enough

Reply from The Manager, Registered Manager at Gainsborough Care Home

It has been very stressful for all the families and residents of the care home that closed and we have been glad that we were able to help. Gainsborough tried to do all it could to help the transition go as smoothly as possible, and I'm very happy to read this review that confirms we did actually achieve this.

My wife has been a resident at Admiralty care home in Wigmore Gillingham for more than three and a half years and I visit her almost every day. I find the staff to be very friendly and caring and they greet me in a most welcoming way. The management team is approachable and reactive when required. In
addition, there is a good range of stimulating social interaction. The home is fragrant and clean and parking is an acceptable part of the overall package.

My mum has been here for several months now, and I am overall very happy with the care she is getting. The staff treat my mum with dignity, and that I can visit at any time without announcing it is a big thing for me. My only concern is activities, as I am not sure they always happen when shown on the
posters around. If this were fixed, I would possibly give everything as excellent as everything else is.

Blenheim Care Home

from Adam D (Son of Resident) published on 29 July 2025

Fantastic team with a clear love for their residents and the service they provide.
My mum had advanced dementia and was initially residing in another care home, where she would be left in bed all day and fed pureed food. When my dad was assessed no longer able to live on his own, we were able to reunite
my parents by moving them both into Blenheim Care Home.
The staff's interest in getting my mum dressed & socialising, in the communal area, with the other residents, resulted in her condition improving, within 2 months, to the point that she was once more able to feed herself & eat solids!
They often have entertainers & animals visiting to keep the residents stimulated. The home is in a beautifully picturesque area of Bournemouth and the staff are super-friendly, always looking to learn more about those in their care, to help shape and personalise the care for each resident. My parent's lives were extended 6-12 months thanks to the care they received from this fantastic team!

We could not praise Victory Care Home enough. The staff and management team have shown exceptional care and compassion towards my dad whilst being in their care and after returning from a short stay in hospital. The home is always clean and the staff go above and beyond to deliver great care. You are
always welcomed with a smile and a hello, and nothing is every too much trouble. As a family we would highly recommend Victory Care Home.

My father has been a resident for the past four weeks and I travelled to visit this weekend. I was very impressed with the home and how comfortable and homely it is. My Dad took me on a tour around the home and I was certainly impressed. Although he can't remember what he does I was told he joins in
with the other residents and chats with them. He was smiling and happy which is very reassuring. Amazing views from the home and him room.

Admiralty Care Home

from Anne B (Daughter of Resident) published on 25 July 2025

My mother 98 had been in Admiralty since November 2024 after suffering from Dementia and having had a slight stroke when it became impossible for her to live independently. From day one she settled in and this was due to the care that she received from the lovely carers and the home Manager. The home
has gone through a complete renovation and provided a lovely upgraded environment for the residents. Majority of the residents eat an excellent lunch in the dinning room everyday cooked fresh by the kitchen team, who are so obliging to individual needs. Then various activities are provided daily which I must say I've joined in numerous times and are great fun and give the residents pleasure.to take part if they wish. The care team in mums case were absolutely amazing they actually loved her and she them the bond she had formed with them for me as her daughter was so appreciated to know they took care of her as I wanted her to be cared for and I visited her every day.

My Mother has been cared for the past three & half years in Agincourt. I myself live in Ireland. It has been a great ease of mind to myself to see and know that my Mother has been so well cared for and even more importantly comfortable. The staff are so helpful and polite. I phoned from Ireland 2 to
3 times a week and was given a hearty welcome and informed how my Mother was. Talking to my Mother everytime she rang their praises. It was a pleasure to know Agincourt and all the staff. Can not thank them enough.

Waterside

from C C (Daughter of Resident) published on 25 July 2025

For the whole time my father was in the care home the lift only worked 3 times. Very poor when he was staying for a length of time, every time I called to see how he was the just kept ringing and never answered, when it was I left a message for someone to call me back and I didn't get a response. There
wasn't a TV in the room so my father was in bed looking at the wall, there were not sides up on the bed to stop him from falling out just a soft mat which meant he could get out of bed with the worry of him falling. Certain members of staff were good and helpful but some not so good. I was disappointed y the whole experience and felt my father became isolated and depressed. Also lift only worked 3 times the whole time I visited - always out of order.
