On the whole Mum likes it there, she seems happy to return when I take her back. Never heard her say she doesn't want to go back in. I find the older carers, that have been there for a long time, treat Mum like family & all seem to take care of her, as she's been there for many years. They have fun with her but respect her privacy & know how to ask Mum to do things, rather than boss her, she doesn't like that. They get her to join in most activities, Mum is always laughing & joking, so that speaks volumes.

Emma went out of her way to accomadate our whole family visiting my mother-in-law. Gave us such a warm welcome. My mother-in-laws face would light up every time Emma entered the room and calls her her best carer.
Felt so reassuring to see Anne so cared for.

I have made several visits. The rooms are pleasant and airy, the staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. If I ever get to needing a care home, I would want to be in one like this. I have witnessed a couple of the activities for residents and they seem to cover a good range of tastes.

My friend had a fall resulting in a broken hip, following hospital discharge & time at another care home we managed to get her a place at Rodley. She did not get out of bed at the previous care home. But with encouragement she was able to get out of bed & into a wheel chair. This enabled her to mix with the other residents. As a result of this & the care & support given her mood & health improved greatly. Unfortunatly she had a stroke & was taken to hospital. She returned to Rodley and died peacefully in a home environment

Since T.S came here about 18 months ago (?), I have only been able to visit a few times. But each time I have found the staff friendly and welcoming, and the home clean and tidy. A pleasant and calm atmosphere.
So, in my experience, albeit only "snapshot".

At the beginning of 2026 my uncle had a number of falls, hospital stays and was no longer mobile. The hospital advised him to move to a care home. He was extremely fortunate to then become a resident at Henlow Court where, with their expertise, patience and kindness he has regained his mobility, confidence, and appetite. He is now happily speedy with his 4-wheeled walker and enjoying his love of gardening again, helping to grow tomatoes and tend to flowering plants in the garden. Both my parents have been at The Coombs for 12 months now. They are very well looked after and very settled . The home itself is homely and clean with lovely home cooked food. Residents have varied activities most days, visiting performers and go out on trips . When I have needed to raise small issues I have been listened to and they have been addressed quickly. More recently, The Coombs has a different care provider and new manager and it is being extremely well run. Staff are welcoming and appear relaxed and happy and there is just the best atmosphere amongst the residents. I particularly love the fact that everyone is mixed together and nobody is segregated . I thoroughly recommend The Coombs . All the staff are so kind to the residents and take fantastic care of them .

In such a short time being here my dad has had all the relevant referrals done which is just outstanding and amazing. All the staff have been very welcoming and have been just amazing. There has been an occasion where I arrived and no one had seen me. when I arrived the care I see my dad receiving was second to none. The communication is outstanding. I get updates every day I go there and I know my dad is being well looked after .
Even with my dad needing extra support with his mobility it's not too much for them and have just made our experience the best. X.

From the very beginning 9 months ago, Adela and the Agincourt team have always maintained a very professional and hardworking ethic, which is what made us choose this home. As far as our aunt was able to with her dementia, she settled well and knew where she was. Food and conditions were all very good. All the staff-members who dealt with us when we visited were cheery, welcoming and responsible, especially Annu. Thanks very much, Agincourt!

We are nearing the end of our second week of my mother's transition to Rose Court Care Home in Surrey Quays, London, so I just wanted to put down our first impressions of the arrival and settling Mum into the care home. Firstly, I wanted to say how much I appreciated the help and guidance of all of the staff, from those in the front office through to the nursing staff; their advice in setting up the room so that Mum would feel straight away that she was not in a strange new place but somewhere that quickly felt like home. Moving someone who has dementia from a home where she has lived for 30 plus years we knew would come with mush anxiety and fear, but the staff have made that step of the move so much easier by their welcoming attitude and their clear helpful words to mum of how things work day by day at Rose Court, Being welcomed by each member of staff and a welcome cup of tea certainly made a great first impression of warmth not only to mum but to us as her family,
For me personally

Super care home. Very caring staff and exceptional office staff! Home does not have that usual smell! Food menu could be a little better as there isn't much fresh salads!
Entertainment is good but could be better and not so early in the morning as not all residents can be up and dressed by 10am.
