The manager and staff here are lovely, despite being busy. I have had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Tin, for the 1st time because I needed, the response "no problem, sorted". In short the staff and management are professional, helpful and kind, and will sort out problems whenever they can. Thank
you, Greg.

Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5
Staff kind, caring and patient. Residents could be given more stimulation and encouraged to take part in activities, exercise more, be taken into the garden, especially in good weather. Not so good for them to be put in the lounge with the TV blaring, apparently of no interest to residents who seem
to be sleeping. Self-care should also be encouraged, e.g. shaving.

I have nothing more than praise for the home and staff. They have been kind to my husband and myself. The staff have tried very hard to get my husband involved in the home activities, but I feel that he is passed the stage of being able to get him to join in. The bedrooms could do with a fresh coat
of paint room is a bit tatty chips of wood taken out of skirting and frames and furniture but he feels safe there and that is all that mattered. I could not have picked a better place.

Gainsborough Care Home

from Richard H (Son of Resident) published on 30 April 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Dad has been with Gainsborough for approximately 6 years now, mum was with them until she passed in 2022.
Since then dad has been cared for and become well know by all of the staff and particularly by two or three members. It has very recently come to our attention that a member of staff purchased/
obtained a book relating to our family's history within motorcycle racing . Namely mums brother , dad's brother in law . This just does go to show how much you take in when listening to personal life stories of individuals, they are not just a body or resident, they are someone who you do care about.
Thank you
From Dad and Mum's family
Reply from Paul Beasley, Operations Manager at Gainsborough Care HomeThank you for you kind feedback. I am pleased to see the impact the book has made to your father and how our teams are supporting our residents in such a person-centred way. I will be sure to pass your feedback to the team.

My dad has been here for a few weeks and is really enjoying it, and already been out on a trishaw ride to maiden castle. The staff are all so happy, friendly and fun.
We are always made to feel very welcome and provided with drinks and snacks and always invited to stay for meals.
It's been new for
us all but seeing dad so happy and enjoying the company is amazing. We can even take his dog in to visit.

I cannot thank the team at St Peter's park enough for the incredible care they provide to my grandfather. Choosing a care home is a difficult decision, but from the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. The staff are not just professionals; they are genuinely kind people who treat residents like family.
The home is always clean, warm, and full of life. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing our loved one is safe, happy, and well-cared for.

I cannot fault them. My mother has only been here a short time and in that times I have been very impressed with the kindness the staff have given my mother. She has had to have a ambulance called twice while being here, and both times the staff have kept me informed every step of the way. I walk away
knowing that I don't need to worry about mum, which means a lot, she's having the care that she needs.

Mum has only recently moved in, and from the first day we went in the home has felt warm, welcoming and professionally run.
The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Meals professionally cooked and smell lovely, it's great to know mum has her appetite coming back.
I know how hard all
the staff work but it feels very calm and relaxed and family are welcome anytime.
Highly recommend Blenheim Care Home.

Blenheim Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother-in-law was really struggling at home. She was not eating properly and losing weight very quickly. She didn't remember to take her medication. Her neighbours found her wandering outside on a busy main road. Her dementia meant that she was hearing voices. The social services of our local council
found her a respite care place in Blenheim Care Home. This has been a complete blessing. The manager telephoned me in advance and recorded all her details eg. Medication, likes and dislikes, how she liked to be addressed. It was very professional and very caring. She was welcomed warmly on her day of arrival and allocated a lovely room with a view of the garden. Everyone introduced themselves and gave us plenty of time to settle in. It was a very friendly atmosphere. I have visited a few times now and all the staff are approachable and knowledgeable. They come across as an exceptional and dedicated team. I feel very fortunate to have my mother-in-law here. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone.
