My Aunty was treated with respect and dignity by all of the kind and caring people who work at the Care Home. She was kept comfortable and pain free in her last days. My family are very grateful for the care she was given. The staff are so caring, kind and clearly love their roles.

My mother has been at Hazlemere since November 2020 and the administrative and care staff have gone above and beyond to assist me through getting her settled, a couple of falls and hospital stays, all things Covid, providing/advising/purchasing personal items for my mother, as well as setting up a regular schedule of Zoom calls and answering many questions and sharing procedures with me to help me understand how it all works at Hazlemere. All this has been done from afar because as her son, I’m living in Tucson, Arizona (thousands of miles away) and due to Covid and lockdowns could not even fly over and be in the UK. Due to the need for my mother to be in a safe, care home environment, and the logistics and restrictions of Covid over the past year, I cannot be more grateful for everything the staff has done to accommodate my needs and see us both through the process. Our mother has been resident at Hazlemere Lodge for two and a half years and we have been so impressed with the service, care and attention that they give to all the residents. The staff are so attentive and caring, going above and beyond their duties to ensure that the residents are happy and content - nothing seems too much for them. During these challenging Covid times they have gone the extra mile to reassure us that our mum is well, sending us photos of her after they had arranged an afternoon of haircuts and manicures for the ladies and again when she had a chest infection and was back eating and on the mend which eased our concern considerably. Staff have been great organising singalongs and movie afternoons and have super personal interaction with the residents.
