Overall Experience

My mother has just passed away at Paternoster after over six years of living there. I can honestly say I have never ever regretted putting her there, she has had six years of being well looked after and loved. The carers and nurses are angels, the admin staff efficient and kind. I would recommend it

as a caring, fun, homely place to put your loved ones. Thank you Paternoster.

Overall Experience

At a very traumatic time in my life I found the staff extremely professional and competent when looking after my husband with dementia after a stay in hospital. They were supportive to me when I was worried and upset by the situation. They were kind and understanding with my husband. I felt he was in

very good care.

My dear sister sadly passed away at Paternoster on 2nd August after excellent care since January 2025, the kindness & dignity shown by every member of staff associated with her was second to none, we spent every day of her last week by her side and the staff couldn't have been kinder they certainly

made what was a dreadful time for us more bearable with plenty of comfort, tea etc, we couldn't have asked for anywhere better for my sister to live out her last days and take comfort in the knowledge she was so happy there..

Overall Experience

I can only praise the staff they were very attentive, anything I asked for they were there for me nothign seem to be to much to ask. Day and night staff were excellent for my needs. Cleanliness of room was also excellent, food was very good. Only thing wrong was physio they seemed to want me out as

soon as I got there, helped for two weeks then nothing else for the last two weeks.

Overall Experience

From the moment my mother arrived at Paternoster House in January this year through to her sad passing in August, each and every staff member has excelled in their own particular role.

Be they front-facing within the reception, daily carers, senior nurses, cleaners, kitchen or maintenance staff,

their warmth, genuine kindness, humility and love is apparent throughout the entire house-hold; therein absolute peace of mind that mum was always in the best possible professional and loving care.

Outstanding in all respects.

Overall Experience

As soon as I entered through the door and was greeted with warmth and smiles, I knew I was in a place that was very special. Music and light were in the lift and I was guided to my friend's room - it was home from home. Immaculate crisp bed linen, pretty top, birdsong flowing through the window and

always smiles, warmth and overwhelming care from the wonderful carers. Thank you Paternoster for giving my friend such a truly beautiful and happy place and for us to be able to share this special place - Paternoster Care Home.

My mother was in Grevill House for 9 months, during which time her health deteriorated and she passed away. All the staff went above and beyond with her care. They were particularly helpful with my father who found the situtation very difficult and supported him. Thank you for everything.

Overall Experience

The care team at Henlow Court have all been so caring and kind. I cannot fault them at all - such dedication to the needs of residents. My mother-in-law was here for 15 months. She was well looked after and happy - stimulated and included. Her medical needs were attended well too. We visited frequently,

as did her friends, and we were able to come and go any time. Thank you so much to all staff there.

Overall Experience

All of the staff are patient and caring. They treat the residents with dignity and respect- even when that requires one to one help/reassurance. Potential improvements, many rooms not having ensuite toilets, use commodes. These can get smelly. Opening windows is not always acceptable. It would be helpful

to install extractor fans. Other than that, the home is comfortable and well equipped, and is kept clean and safe.

There is a shortage of care staff at times which leads to frustration for the residents & also the visitors.

Overall Experience

Mum was supposed to stay in Grevill House six days respite, for a much needed break for my dad, but we had to take her out after 4 due her basic care needs not being met. Mum was only dressed one day and was left in bed all the time she was there other than when my sister and my self took her out, teeth

were not cleaned breakfast tray in her room at three in the afternoon. mum was only dressed once staff did not promote mums independence and even though she was only there for four days she came out worse than she went in making things even more difficult for my dad and the family. to look at this place is nice but that is all. This is a honest review of Grevill House.
