My experience with Paternoster House has been extremely positive. The staff are consistently kind, compassionate and professional, always treating residents with dignity and respect. The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it is clear that the team genuinely cares about the wellbeing and happiness
of everyone living there.
Recently the has been issues with the lift in the home being out of service, this has caused issues for some residents but the staff and whole home has rallied around to support residents.
On occasions i have ate lunch with my friend and the food is always amazing!
Communication with families has been excellent, and we have always felt supported and reassured. The activities, cleanliness, and overall standard of care have all been impressive. Knowing our loved one is safe, comfortable and well looked after gives us real peace of mind.
I would happily recommend Paternoster House to anyone looking for a caring and supportive home for a family member.

My Mum has been a resident of Henlow Court since August 2025. She has settled very well. The carers are really good, the residents enjoy lots of entertainment from the staff and various visiting groups. Christmas was lovely lots of events on, and an amazing Christmas lunch was served. Mum has made lots
of friends and enjoys a laugh with the staff. Visitors are made to feel welcome and the staff soon get to know them too.

Dad was having frequent falls and spending the night on the floor. It became clear that he needed to go into care despite his reluctance. Now, whenever we visit him, he tells us we made the right decision, and he is very happy at Henlow Court. He says he is well looked after, and he enjoys having a
cooked breakfast every day. We chose this home after visiting and seeing how clean and well looked after it was. The staff we talked to were helpful and friendly. The manager showed us around and explained everything thoroughly, so we had no qualms in placing Dad there.

I have been visiting Henlow for the last few years as both my parents were being cared for there . The staff are always kind & helpful & take time to talk to the residents. There are lots of activities, from crafting to pets visiting & my mums favourite .. music .
We try & visit every
day & whatever time we call in it's never a problem even during meal times ( which are good ) & it's always looks very clean .
The most important thing is that my mum is happy there .

My friend was admitted into Henlow Court in 2022 and very quickly became part of the furniture. He passed seat in February but was treated with dignity and respect till the very end. I was also accommodated with staying with my friend in his last few days and the staff could not do enough-offering me
meals, drinks etc. Until his last weeks, my friend lived a fulfilled life, enjoying endless banter with staff members and residents alike, enjoyed his food and activities. I cannot recommend Henlow enough to those looking for a care home for their family members etc

Although I've had a few problems with the nursing home I met with the Manager, who intimated that the issues I raised would be sorted.
I will reiterate that the majority of the staff are lovely, very caring and welcoming; they make you feel that the nursing home is a large family.

My gran moved into Henlow Court in August of this year. She has settled well and made some nice friends. It's a lovely care home with great carers. There are lots of activities for the residents including animal visits which gran loves. It's such a comfort to know my gran is only a few minutes away
and still able to be close to family and friends whilst receiving the excellent care she now requires. It's a very warm and welcoming care home that's a pleasure to visit as a family member of a resident. The carers and staff are friendly and chatty which just adds to the warm feel of the place. Henlow court has a lot to offer and I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering a care home for a loved one.

My mum has been at Windsor Street for over 7 years. She moved up to nursing 6 months ago. The staff/carers are very caring, gentle and kind and ensure all her needs are met. It is like a second family. I would recommend this home and I trust them with the care of my mum.

My mother has just passed away at Paternoster after over six years of living there. I can honestly say I have never ever regretted putting her there, she has had six years of being well looked after and loved. The carers and nurses are angels, the admin staff efficient and kind. I would recommend it
as a caring, fun, homely place to put your loved ones. Thank you Paternoster.

My dear sister sadly passed away at Paternoster on 2nd August after excellent care since January 2025, the kindness & dignity shown by every member of staff associated with her was second to none, we spent every day of her last week by her side and the staff couldn't have been kinder they certainly
made what was a dreadful time for us more bearable with plenty of comfort, tea etc, we couldn't have asked for anywhere better for my sister to live out her last days and take comfort in the knowledge she was so happy there..
Reply from Rhiannon Freeman-Gray, on behalf of the team at Paternoster HouseThank you so much for your kind words - they mean so much to the whole team. It was a real privilege to care for your sister and we're all so sorry for your loss. If there's ever anything more we can do to support you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I can only praise the staff they were very attentive, anything I asked for they were there for me nothign seem to be to much to ask. Day and night staff were excellent for my needs. Cleanliness of room was also excellent, food was very good. Only thing wrong was physio they seemed to want me out as
soon as I got there, helped for two weeks then nothing else for the last two weeks.

From the moment my mother arrived at Paternoster House in January this year through to her sad passing in August, each and every staff member has excelled in their own particular role.
Be they front-facing within the reception, daily carers, senior nurses, cleaners, kitchen or maintenance staff,
their warmth, genuine kindness, humility and love is apparent throughout the entire house-hold; therein absolute peace of mind that mum was always in the best possible professional and loving care.
Outstanding in all respects.
Thank you so very very much.

As soon as I entered through the door and was greeted with warmth and smiles, I knew I was in a place that was very special. Music and light were in the lift and I was guided to my friend's room - it was home from home. Immaculate crisp bed linen, pretty top, birdsong flowing through the window and
always smiles, warmth and overwhelming care from the wonderful carers. Thank you Paternoster for giving my friend such a truly beautiful and happy place and for us to be able to share this special place - Paternoster Care Home.

My mother was in Grevill House for 9 months, during which time her health deteriorated and she passed away. All the staff went above and beyond with her care. They were particularly helpful with my father who found the situtation very difficult and supported him. Thank you for everything.

The care team at Henlow Court have all been so caring and kind. I cannot fault them at all - such dedication to the needs of residents. My mother-in-law was here for 15 months. She was well looked after and happy - stimulated and included. Her medical needs were attended well too. We visited frequently,
as did her friends, and we were able to come and go any time. Thank you so much to all staff there.
