My mother is now 103 years old and sadly bedbound. However, she is well cared for. The review was 100% based on her needs and I can only say that she is well cared for and staff spend time chatting with her when able. I could not be happier with her care.

My mum has been in this care home for a year now. The thing that really stands out about this care home is the staff (including management) and how professional, caring and kind they are. The building is light and spacious with communal areas with large smart TVs. There are activities of various sorts
for residents everyday should they wish to join in. Mum loves the staff and often hugs them with a big smile when they pass or attend to her needs. I always leave mum knowing she is safe and being looked after, and I am always promptly contacted should there be anything I need to know. The home is excellent regarding communication and liaison, which I also find very reassuring.

I was very anxious about my auntie being in a carehome. After visiting several within the area, the moment I stepped in the door, it just felt right. The care my auntie receives is excellent in every way. The staff are very supportive and understanding of individual needs. They speak to the residents
with thought and care. The meals provided are excellent, my auntie is a very fussy eater and she is catered for extremely well. Management team keep me well informed with everything related to my auntie. They have daily activities within the home as well as weekly singers / entertainers which my auntie absolutely loves. Cordelia House is great!!

After serious illness and having Alzheimer's, Mum went into Gorseway Manor Care Home bedbound and wishing to die, she had completely given up. A year later, thanks to the care and love of the amazing staff, she gets up every day, takes part in all activities and is very happy. She eats well (says the
food is excellent), loves all the staff and is enjoying her life.
I can't praise this care home enough for what they have done for my mum. I can visit anytime, it's clean and tidy and all staff are welcoming and friendly, they keep me up to date with how mum is doing and take excellent care of her.
It was difficult and quite frightening choosing a care home for mum, but we definitely made the right choice here.

For 5 weeks I stayed at Gorseway Park as a transition from hospital to moving back home. I needed to gain strength and some changes needed to be made at home. Gorseway provided the ideal setting. The staff were professional, positive, patient, happy, encouraging, treated me as an individual and went
the extra mile. My room opened onto the garden which enabled me to watch wildlife and walk outside. Activities were available. Meals were tailored to my neds.

The staff are always friendly, and helpful. They treat their clients extremely well. My husband has only been a resident for less than 6 months and l couldn't ask for better care facilities. He is always treated with dignity and respect. He has a lovely

I cannot fault this care home where my mum has lived for the past two years. Mum has a room that has plenty of light and sunshine, and all her photos and memories to make her feel at home. The staff are attentive to the needs and are always around to make sure the residents are happy. Mum likes crafty
things to do and spends some lovely time painting, drawing and making things. The food is lovely and fresh, which mum enjoys. After visiting Mum, I am always happy to leave knowing she is well cared for. The staff make a great cup of tea!

My dad moved to Gorseway 4 weeks ago and I'll admit I was worried as it's a big decision to make where my father should live for most probably the rest of his life but wow what an amazing time he's having, lots of activities for him which he loves and he's really enjoying the lovely food, the staff
are so kind and welcoming they always have time for my dad and we get a lovely greeting when we come to visit and all in such beautiful surroundings I don't think I could have asked for more for him

Gorseway Nursing Home is situated in a very attractive physical setting. The building is well planned and the rooms are spacious. The building is kept clean. There are a lot of care staff who are very kind, affectionate and caring to the residents. The management staff are easily accessible at the entrance
and are welcoming. All those in charge of care are accessible, welcoming and caring and make a point of speaking to residents' family members. The food is good, the residents look well dressed, and the care staff do spend time talking to them. There is a team of people planning events for the residents and their families. Car parking is a bit limited, and no dedicated disability care park facilities.

My dad went to Gorseway Park Nursing home on 23/10/25. From the first day he was made to feel so welcome and every effort was made to ensure dad settled into his new home straight away. All the staff treat Dad with respect and dignity. Dad is always happy when family and friends visit and the staff
make us feel welcome and are always so happy to hep in any way they can. We feel so fortunate that Dad is in a safe and happy place.
