I am very happy with the care that my mum has received. The physical environment, lounge, dining area and room are very pleasing. It has a warm feel about the place. My mum loves sitting in the lovely garden when sunny. The activity staff are amazing as well as the nurses who all try to encourage my
mum to take part.
Reply from Fran Weeks, Home Manager at Chalgrove Care and Nursing HomeThank you so much for your lovely feedback. My mum is now a resident at Chalgrove and has been for the last 6 weeks. Sadly after fracturing her hip twice and several hospital admissions mum's needs couldn't be managed at home any longer as she now needed 24 hour care. Mum has settled in really well and says she feels safe and happy at Chalgrove.
All the staff are friendly, supportive to mum's needs and for us as a family it gives us a piece of mind she is being well looked after.
Reply from Fran Weeks, Home Manager at Chalgrove Care and Nursing HomeThank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We understand how challenging this period has been for your family, and we are pleased to hear that your mum has settled well at Chalgrove and feels safe and comfortable in her new surroundings.
Your comments regarding the team are very much valued and will be shared with them.

Mum spent the last fifteen months of her life in the Bosworth Care Home. This is a real home which is spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and welcoming to all visitors. She enjoyed chatting to other residents and staff and watching the " comings and goings" of each day. She loved her room, the food
and the varied daily activities. Trycycle rides, the singer and bingo being her favourite ones. Our family was always kept up to date with mum's care needs. We are hugely grateful to the kind, patient, respectful and helpful staff who work there. They made mum's final chapter such a happy one. Thank you.
Reply from Paul Beasley, Operations Manager at BosworthThank you very much for your kind feedback. We are very pleased that your experience at Bosworth was such a positive one, particularly enjoying the activities and company of other in the home. I will be sure that your comments are passed onto the team, who will be delighted to receive this feedback.

The staff are lovely but always short-staffed. The laundry service is dreadful. Numerous lost items and ruined clothing. Very poorly staffed member of staff does her best but is also a cleaner!! The food is excellent.

Couldn't have asked for a better care home for my Mum to have been in. All the staff are so friendly and always made my Mum feel so at home. She made some lovely friendships with the staff and adored every single person there. It was nice to know there were people around 24/7 for her, it definitely
put our families minds at ease! She had nothing but the best care especially in her final days, they treated her with the dignity and respect she deserved. Couldn't recommend this care home more they've done the most even after my Mums sad passing.

I once thought lowly of Agincourt home, but after being with father-in-law and watching, listening, etc. I have changed my views. Yes, the interior of the home is not up to other homes I have been to, but the care and friendliness of all the staff that we have had look after Norman has been wonderful.
On Norman's last week alive, the staff have not only taken great care of him but also the family. We are extremely grateful to all concerned.

Dad moved into Chalgrove in September. Management and staff could not be more kind, caring and supportive to help a smooth transition from home. His room is light, airy and cosy. With the support, in particular, of the maintenance manager it was soon feeling homely and comfortable. Dad's medical and
care needs are well looked after with sympathetic attention. Food is one of Dad's pleasures. The choice and variety is excellent with refreshments served throughout the day. The main enjoyment for Dad is sport. The maintenance manager went above and beyond to support us to transfer his sky package (this proved much more challenging than expected). The maintenance manager spent a lot of time assisting us with this, recognising how important it was in Dad's settling in process. We cannot thank him enough. As a family we are thankful that Dad's safety, health and well-being are in such good hands.
Reply from Fran Weeks, Home Manager at Chalgrove Care and Nursing HomeThank you so much for sharing this lovely feedback which is gratefully received by all of the team. It's heart-warming to hear that your dad's transition to Chalgrove has been so positive, and that the team especially the maintenance manager has gone above and beyond to make him feel at home. We're truly grateful for your kind words and are so pleased that your dad is happy, safe, and well cared for.

The assessment at home was very thorough and reassuring. My daughter and son-in-law took my husband down and settled him in (and collected and brought him home), so I can only comment on their impressions gained at these two occasions. It is difficult/impossible to get a proper review from my husband,
who has dementia (so I have put satisfactory where I need to). Every day when I rang the home, the information was given freely and reassuringly in a friendly manner. There was a mix up one day when another resident with the same first name as m husband was ill and got told it was my husband. The error was quickly spotted, and I was contacted again.

Fantastic team with a clear love for their residents and the service they provide.
My mum had advanced dementia and was initially residing in another care home, where she would be left in bed all day and fed pureed food. When my dad was assessed no longer able to live on his own, we were able to reunite
my parents by moving them both into Blenheim Care Home.
The staff's interest in getting my mum dressed & socialising, in the communal area, with the other residents, resulted in her condition improving, within 2 months, to the point that she was once more able to feed herself & eat solids!
They often have entertainers & animals visiting to keep the residents stimulated. The home is in a beautifully picturesque area of Bournemouth and the staff are super-friendly, always looking to learn more about those in their care, to help shape and personalise the care for each resident. My parent's lives were extended 6-12 months thanks to the care they received from this fantastic team!
Reply from Kerry Upward, Manager at Blenheim Care HomeMany thanks for your kind words Adam, both mum & dad are missed by the team, Dad was such a great character he liven the place up. Take care

My father has been a resident for the past four weeks and I travelled to visit this weekend. I was very impressed with the home and how comfortable and homely it is. My Dad took me on a tour around the home and I was certainly impressed. Although he can't remember what he does I was told he joins in
with the other residents and chats with them. He was smiling and happy which is very reassuring. Amazing views from the home and him room.
