Couldn't have asked for a better care home for my Mum to have been in. All the staff are so friendly and always made my Mum feel so at home. She made some lovely friendships with the staff and adored every single person there. It was nice to know there were people around 24/7 for her, it definitely
put our families minds at ease! She had nothing but the best care especially in her final days, they treated her with the dignity and respect she deserved. Couldn't recommend this care home more they've done the most even after my Mums sad passing.

I once thought lowly of Agincourt home, but after being with father-in-law and watching, listening, etc. I have changed my views. Yes, the interior of the home is not up to other homes I have been to, but the care and friendliness of all the staff that we have had look after Norman has been wonderful.
On Norman's last week alive, the staff have not only taken great care of him but also the family. We are extremely grateful to all concerned.

Dad moved into Chalgrove in September. Management and staff could not be more kind, caring and supportive to help a smooth transition from home. His room is light, airy and cosy. With the support, in particular, of the maintenance manager it was soon feeling homely and comfortable. Dad's medical and
care needs are well looked after with sympathetic attention. Food is one of Dad's pleasures. The choice and variety is excellent with refreshments served throughout the day. The main enjoyment for Dad is sport. The maintenance manager went above and beyond to support us to transfer his sky package (this proved much more challenging than expected). The maintenance manager spent a lot of time assisting us with this, recognising how important it was in Dad's settling in process. We cannot thank him enough. As a family we are thankful that Dad's safety, health and well-being are in such good hands.

The assessment at home was very thorough and reassuring. My daughter and son-in-law took my husband down and settled him in (and collected and brought him home), so I can only comment on their impressions gained at these two occasions. It is difficult/impossible to get a proper review from my husband,
who has dementia (so I have put satisfactory where I need to). Every day when I rang the home, the information was given freely and reassuringly in a friendly manner. There was a mix up one day when another resident with the same first name as m husband was ill and got told it was my husband. The error was quickly spotted, and I was contacted again.

Blenheim Care Home

Fantastic team with a clear love for their residents and the service they provide.
My mum had advanced dementia and was initially residing in another care home, where she would be left in bed all day and fed pureed food. When my dad was assessed no longer able to live on his own, we were able to reunite
my parents by moving them both into Blenheim Care Home.
The staff's interest in getting my mum dressed & socialising, in the communal area, with the other residents, resulted in her condition improving, within 2 months, to the point that she was once more able to feed herself & eat solids!
They often have entertainers & animals visiting to keep the residents stimulated. The home is in a beautifully picturesque area of Bournemouth and the staff are super-friendly, always looking to learn more about those in their care, to help shape and personalise the care for each resident. My parent's lives were extended 6-12 months thanks to the care they received from this fantastic team!
Reply from Kerry Upward, Manager at Blenheim Care Home

My father has been a resident for the past four weeks and I travelled to visit this weekend. I was very impressed with the home and how comfortable and homely it is. My Dad took me on a tour around the home and I was certainly impressed. Although he can't remember what he does I was told he joins in
with the other residents and chats with them. He was smiling and happy which is very reassuring. Amazing views from the home and him room.

My Mother has been cared for the past three & half years in Agincourt. I myself live in Ireland. It has been a great ease of mind to myself to see and know that my Mother has been so well cared for and even more importantly comfortable. The staff are so helpful and polite. I phoned from Ireland 2 to
3 times a week and was given a hearty welcome and informed how my Mother was. Talking to my Mother everytime she rang their praises. It was a pleasure to know Agincourt and all the staff. Can not thank them enough.

Although both my parents were only at Cheriton for a very short period of time (sadly passing away within 3. Days of each other).
As a family we could not have wished for a better place, the care was incredible, from the Manager who was incredibly kind.
Two staff members in particular were also incredibly
kind.
Also, another member of staff who was lovely and helpful.
We really cannot remember everyone's names, but everyone was so lovely .
While we were visiting, we noticed the food was always fresh and looked delicious.
Refreshments were always on hand.

My mum has been living at the Edwardian side of Chalgrove Nursing and Care Home for some time now, and I can't thank the team enough for the care and compassion they've shown - not just to her, but to us as a family too.

She moved in following a series of strokes, and her needs have understandably

become more complex over time. The staff have handled everything with a level of professionalism, kindness, and patience that has been so reassuring. From personal care to making sure she feels emotionally supported, they've made a real difference to her quality of life.

What I also want to acknowledge is how they've supported us as a family. Let's just say the family dynamic isn't always straightforward, but the team have always remained friendly, understanding, and helpful - never judging, always trying to do the right thing for Mum. That kind of empathy goes a long way and hasn't gone unnoticed. Would highly recommend

My mum passed away peacefully on 5th June at Gainsborough, with family around her, after a happy two and a half months as a resident there. Suffering from Alzheimer's, she had become increasingly anxious and unhappy at her previous care home, but the move to the area lifted both her spirits and ours
(her three sons and our families) - it's clear to me this was down purely to the lovely attentive and cheerful staff and a better environment - a nice room with a view of the pretty garden. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude go to the team led by one member of staff in particular, who made her final months a peaceful and relaxed one - we will be forever in your debt for that, thank you. Since a new acting manager & deputy have been in place (hopefully permanent) things have been changing for the better. The home now has a nicer more cheerful feel to it. Also with a new entertainment carer the residents will get much needed stimulation. The carers are all extremely friendly & remain
calm in some very difficult situations. Residents always look clean & tidy (with now matching socks) As a family we thank all staff for their care of our loved one.
