Bosworth

The transition for my mum moving into Bosworth was so smooth & stressless. All questions were answered, all reassurances given & nothing was too much hassle. Communication was & still is fantastic. All the staff are so kind, caring & compassionate. The strong ethos of teamwork is clear to see. The home itself is absolutely just right, warm, homely, comfortable & extremely welcoming. The sea views & the sea air is an added bonus!

Mum spent the last fifteen months of her life in the Bosworth Care Home. This is a real home which is spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and welcoming to all visitors. She enjoyed chatting to other residents and staff and watching the " comings and goings" of each day. She loved her room, the food and the varied daily activities. Trycycle rides, the singer and bingo being her favourite ones. Our family was always kept up to date with mum's care needs. We are hugely grateful to the kind, patient, respectful and helpful staff who work there. They made mum's final chapter such a happy one. Thank you.

I would recommend this home to anyone who needs looking after in later years.

My father has been a resident for the past four weeks and I travelled to visit this weekend. I was very impressed with the home and how comfortable and homely it is. My Dad took me on a tour around the home and I was certainly impressed. Although he can't remember what he does I was told he joins in with the other residents and chats with them. He was smiling and happy which is very reassuring. Amazing views from the home and him room.

I have been at the Bosworth now for 3 months & I am very happy & have settled in well. My room is a good size & I have all my photos & pictures on the walls to make me feel at home. I find the staff all very kind & helpful & I like them all. I enjoy joining in with the activities & particularly enjoy singing & dancing & the tricycle rides. I find the food very appetising & I have regained my appetite since I have been here.

Bosworth Care Home has a warm atmosphere with cheerful staff, from what I observe the staff seem gentle and patient with the residents.

I couldn't be happier for my mum, knowing she is in a safe & happy environment.

Importantly, my mother loves the company and the food- and is clearly thriving on it!

Any issues that arise are dealt with promptly. We are kept up to date on my mother's care on a regular basis.

Staff always friendly and welcoming, keeps family informed of any incidents/illnesses. Mum seems very happy here, which is reassuring.

My mum was a resident at Bosworth for 15 years. The care given to her throughout was excellent in every respect, from a position of being unable to care for herself until dementia overtook her at the end of her life. I felt she was safe, secure and well cared for and she was happy to be there. The staff are friendly and helpful to residents and visitors, and each member of staff knew each resident well, helped by Bosworth being one of the smaller care homes locally. I felt I could always visit whenever I reasonably wished, and I liked the fact that the management team or her key worker could be approached to discuss any matter at any time. The home has a friendly atmosphere, the food is good and varied. I would recommend.

Mum has been a resident at Bosworth for three years. She is very well looked after, the home is clean and welcoming, and they provide lots of activities. I'm notified of any changes needed for her care and any questions are quickly answered. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very nice compact care home in a quiet residential area opposite a bird sanctuary. Residents receive good care from the staff and are treated well. Facilities are good with some outdoor activities. Food is excellent, care represents good value for money. Would recommend.

I came here in August 2023 because I had and still have very bad knees. I couldn't manage to climb stairs where I was living. At first, I found it strange but over the months have gotten used to being here. I find the staff very good and will help you as much as possible.

My experience on the times I have visited my friend, the staff have always been friendly and happy. My friend is always very clean and organised. Food choice is amazing and always seems calm and a very lovely dining area for all of them.

Excellent care and service to my parents. Such peace of mind knowing they are safe. Couple of small things that parents mentioned were dealt with straight away in a caring and professional manner.

Plenty of activities and family members are able to join in.

My mum has been at Bosworth since 2023, all of the staff are helpful and friendly and have helped her settle in well. They've managed her Alzheimer's mood swings, change in medication and 'sundowning' episodes well and always communicate with myself and sister. She's made a group of friends within Bosworth and generally joins in with activities.

The staff and managers are all happy, helpful and caring towards their charges and welcoming to visitors (even my nut case puppy). Activities are on the up with a new coordinator and the meals and cakes look great so Mum has regained some lost weight. All in all, happy that Mum is now safe, no worries and has company.
