Just thought I would put another review as my mother has been in residential care for 7 months now. I would like to start by praising all the staff for their continuing care for my mother. I can't praise them enough for their professionalism towards myself and my mum. She has settled in so well and
thinks she is at home. She has her hair and nails done regularly. Mum loves the food . The standard of the residential home is clean, tidy and warm full of laughter and entertainment. Management and staff are all approachable . They listen to you if a problem arises. If anyone is thinking of putting their love ones in a residential home . I would definitely recommend the Regency.

Staff have been very good and patient when dealing with an often awkward patient. They have quickly identified visitors and used first names when talking to them.They have also been very helpful in assisting when navigating the security system. When arriving, departing or moving between floors, and
passed pleasantries whilst opening the door/lifts.

My husband and I attend relatives' meeting today. Lovely warm welcome, toast and cheesecake, and mini Victoria sandwiches, on offer. We was brought up to date with what's going on in the home. Management and staff are always friendly and answer any concerns if we have any, my mother in law been at Nightingale
for nearly 2 years. Having good support from management and staff keep up the good work. Dining area a little small.

My partner came to the Regency 28th Jan and has been shown nothing but love and care. The facilities and staff are amazing nothing too much trouble. The staff are very encouraging and get Donna to participate in all activities. The care, the food games and singalongs are a joy to watch seeing how settled
she is. It has made me feel so reassured that she is getting the best care. Regency care home + staff your amazing. Thank you.

My dad is very happy in this care home, he has a lovely ensuite room, enjoys the food and likes all the staff. He has never complained about anything. He has lived here for 18 months. Health issues are always dealt with swiftly.

Myself and my two brothers visited my aunt at the home yesterday afternoon. The care staff we met were all of them very helpful indeed and showed great care and concern for our needs and those of my aunt throughout our visit. I regularly phone my aunt, as I have this month too, and I can say that our
needs are always well catered for and staff are always very caring and attentive. My aunt receives the best care she could at this home.

I had been very ill since June. Hospital transferred me here. At first I was anxious not knowing what to expect. I realise since being here since mid-August the care and compassion I have received is first class. I get daily care and encouragement. They pick me up if I am having a bad day and also manage
to keep my dignity at all times. I would like to nominate the Nightingale Care Home, Derby, for an award for all their hard work and care.

The home is lovely setting with wings, so the service users are not overcrowded in one place.
The staff interact with the patients well and are always happy to help.
The new manager is amazing, she is really creating a warm, happy and homely place. I believe she really cares.

My friend moved into this home 2 months ago and has been very happy since being there.The staff treat her with respect and are attentive. She says she likes all of the carers. Whenever I attend the home to visit or collect my friend the home is clean, warm and welcoming and all the staff are approachable
and helpful. I often see activities such as art and entertainment taking place and residents are encouraged to be involved if they wish.

After leaving the hospital, my mother required full-time care. There was space at the Nightingale Care and Nursing Home, and whilst it is not the closest to where I live, it was certainly a very good decision. The staff are excellent, super friendly and helpful. Her room is very good, spacious, with
an ensuite and all newly decorated. She is able to have her personal belongings - pictures on the walls, which makes it very homely. My mum always looks smart and clean. The care is very good. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful home for my mum. Excellent facilities. Staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are very professional and kind. Food is excellent. A member of staff stopped my mum from choking. Another member of staff called the doctor to mum- mum ended up in hospital but was released the
next day. She had a water infection and I believe the member of staff got mum looked at, at the right time/exact time- hence she came home next day.

My mum recently moved into Regency Care Home. The management team were excellent with the move. The staff made Mum so welcome. Having moved mum from a small homely, comfortable, friendly care home to a large open space, winged care home where the conditions are impressive, as a family, we have found its lost personal contact and interaction. The carrots are kind and conscientious, which makes a valuable contribution, seeing
the same staff and residents. Helped my mum settle well, although she has the stimulation and community feel. We believe some entertainment in a central hub would help enormously. Recently, Mum's toilet failed to flush. As there is no communal toilet in the wing, Mum had to have a commode which the deputy manager dealt with efficiently. This was due to blocked drains. I can't thank the management and staff enough for such a smooth, organised move.

We have moved from another care home to the Regency Care Home, the rooms and overall cleanliness of the Regency is far superior. The good part is that the staff have moved over too which is great since the care staff are really good with our mother and she seems really happy with the move.
