I cannot fault them. My mother has only been here a short time and in that times I have been very impressed with the kindness the staff have given my mother. She has had to have a ambulance called twice while being here, and both times the staff have kept me informed every step of the way. I walk away
knowing that I don't need to worry about mum, which means a lot, she's having the care that she needs.

When first moved into Sunnymeade my husband was very weak and needed help to do most anything after being in hospital quite a while. Family and myself pleased to see him now doing so, though a little messy. I am pleased to see him looking well, and tidy on the whole, though he is now needing a frame
to walk with. The staff are friendly and helpful, though are busy, and the meals seem good.

Very pleased with care overall. We have had a few issues with falls etc but I have always been informed of the incident. All staff have been good from what I have seen. Some however have been fantastic. Shannon in particular has built up a great relationship and deserves recognition.

My step father, Doug was admitted to Sunnymeade in May 2024. The support and care for him was good. Since Ross joined as manager, the home really went up a notch. Whilst things were fine before, you could really see the difference his involvement made. Communication improved and the standard of care
became much more inclusive.
Doug required a lot of involvement from Ross, and Zoe, due to his change in needs, and they fought for his rights and dignity every step of the way.
Doug was clearly well cared for and was comfortable and happy at Sunnymeade. I am very grateful to them all for everything they did for Doug and the support and respect they showed to me along the way.

Both my mother and my step father, were really struggling at home, even with carers TDS, they were under under weight, both looked un kept, mum had pressure sores on her sacrum, they had become withdrawn and were really unable to cope with living at home and together, when we visited them at home, Gordon
would not speak to us, he just sat a cried, mum just kept on repeating that she was depressed, she sat by a window, and had not left the house for a year. When we visited them in Beaufort house care home a couple of weeks ago, we were so impressed, Gordon looked relaxed and we could see that he had definitely put weight on, we had good conversations with him and mum, mum had also put weight on and looked really well, she also was able to hold a good conversation, they both said that they had been out on several trips and lunches out to the Garden centre, they were unable to get out at home, due to mums mobility and Gordon getting lost several times.

We would like to thank the staff.

I have found all the staff at Sunnymeade take care to look after residents with care and attention to individual needs. They have kept me informed regularly and make time if I need to discuss anything. The GP who attends Sunnymeade takes care to keep me informed and is readily available if I need to
talk.

I'm so grateful that my Dad, John, has been shown so much kindness and help to settle into Beaufort House and is now happy and thriving with people to interact with, activities during the day and wonderful staff looking after him. I live a 6hour drive away from dad and he was previously adamant he wanted
to stay in his home, this has been a constant worry for me, but following several falls and stays in hospital and struggling to cope on his own, he came into Beaufort House in December 2025 straight from hospital, l thought this would just be temporary bearing in mind Dads previous views but he's settled in so quickly and has been saying its a wonderful place and how much he loves all the staff, the food is lovely and how much he enjoys the residents to chat with. I'm so relieved that Dad has changed his mind and is now thriving in such a wonderful place. Thankyou so much to all the wonderful staff at Beaufort House!

My dad's quality of life has vastly improved since moving to Sunnymeade. He is extremely content, feels safe in his surroundings and with the staff and very much appreciates living here. Both myself and my sister can rest easy in the fact that our dad is being so well cared for. Thank you so much.

We have always found the staff at Sunnymeade to be friendly, caring, and genuinely committed to the residents. They work long hours, yet they are consistently helpful and informative. The home itself is laid out nicely, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Since Mum has been at Sunnymeade,
we've seen a lot of building work taking place, which shows that Agincare are investing in improving the facilities. The home always looks clean and well cared for. The dining area is always laid out nicely too, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere.
Overall, we feel Mum is in good hands and well looked after.

All the care staff were kind, friendly, patient and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. The staff were all welcoming. They always appeared to deal with mum exactly the way she wanted. Mum didn't want to partake in very many of the activities as she was a private person but that did not matter.
The only fault I can find is that she was bothered by other residents entering her room sometimes at night, being those who sadly did not know where they were. Mum could have locked herself in her room but that wasn't something she or I wanted to happen

Generally find the staff helpful and caring. My father appears to be content. The only minor issue is the laundry, although clearly marked with his name clothes get muddled!

Although my Mum was sadly not a, resident of Sunnymeade for a very long period of time, she was really happy there, for which i am very grateful.
I cannot praise the staff at Sunnymeade enough. They were kind, caring and loving towards my Mum and she was very well looked after.
She particularly enjoyed
the varied activities in the lounge and the staff seemed to understand her cheeky sense of humour.
She had a lovely, light and airy room and her clothes were well cared for by the laundry service.
I cannot fault Sunnymeade at all and would certainly recommend it.
Thank you for the kind and sensitive care that my Mum received.

Lovely old building & grounds kept in good condition. All staff, admin & carers very welcoming & helpful. I doubt if the building is capable of providin more quiet areas, but the carers cheerfull move a resident to help. Occasional meals I have had were fine and the kitchen staff very good

We put my father in Critchill 10 months ago and we are so pleased, everybody is so kind and helpful . I was so worried about leaving him there but every time we go in everybody has a smile on their face and a good word I'm very happy indeed.. we sometimes stop and have lunch with him and even on his
birthday we had tea with him and a cake. It was fantastic. My father suffers with dementia but these moments are very special.. the Management staff cannot do too much for us. The carers are so kind and helpful. We sit and have a cup of tea with Dad every time everybody around there is so caring definitely the right decision. I just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Critchill Court. You will make our world a better place

Staff spend more time on their phone than seeing to residents.
Little or no interaction with residents.
Very poor activities.
(Sock sorting) How ridiculous is it to save the staff a job?
Agency staff don't have no interest in the job.
Reply from Nichola Read, Registered Manager at Critchill CourtI am sorry to hear you have concerns in regards to staff interaction. Please be assured that our activities are tailored to support the needs of our those living with dementia, sock sorting being one of those as it provides a familiar, engaging and calming task. All our daily records are input via hand held mobile phones, and our policy requires the care team to record everything as and when it happens, this ensures an accurate account of each individuals day. If you would like to discuss any concerns you have please do come and see myself or my deputy in our office. Kind Regards, Nichola
