Since mum moved in to edgehill we have found the level of dementia care to be superb. The staff have shown empathy at every turn of mums Journey and been there to support not just mum but me as well. I would highly recommend agincare edgehill to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. I
have found a degree of peace knowing mum is being very well looked after.

I believe that my father has received the best support and care since arriving at Edgehill last December
The staff are very caring and friendly and have looked after my father with the utmost attention and understanding
The food is of an excellent quality and as plentiful as the resident needs require
If
it wasn't for the fact that we are all moving off the mainland, I wouldn't have hesitated to keep him at Edgehill

From the day my parents arrived they and myself have been treated with dignity and respect. All staff are caring and have no problem doing what needs to be done to keep the residents happy and in good health. There is a can do attitude that makes it work and run smoothly. I feel comfortable leaving
my parents at Lansdowne knowing they will be cared for.

The care home is a first class care home. Not one member of staff is not dedicated to the residents. The manager is first class. My husband is very happy here.

The staff are very welcoming and extremely hard working. The care that they provided was outstanding. Although the room was basic it was regularly cleaned and tidied. The food was good and nourishing.
I was impressed with the communication between carers and relatives and the quick response to any
medical issues. My father was always treated with kindness respect and dignity. I would like to thank the carers and I'm happy to recommend this care home.

To say that Edgehill is Excellent is an understatement.
It is not only the day to day care, support, love and kindness shown by all towards the residents & their families but the regular activities & outings designed to keep residents engaged & active that make Edgehill such a wonderful place for all.
Staff
are always doing that extra to make special days so special.
The last 2yrs my parents have so enjoyed being there & we are always amazed by the way staff are not only there for residents during their work hours, but regularly attend voluntarily to help them celebrate a special day or assist with days out. For them its not just a job but a love of people.
Recently losing my father of 94 staff were truly wonderful. From the teary eyed staff honour guard as he left, to the extra love, care & attention shown to my mother in her anguish after 70 years together, nothing was too much for them when caring for a resident.
Sadly 5 STARS is all that we can give and they deserve so much more

My friend moved in November 25.
I can see a huge difference in how well he looks.
He is genuinely happy to be there. The staff are very friendly and professional. When visiting we are made to feel welcome and offered good and drink.

My mum has been at Edgehill since August 2023. In that time she has been wonderfully cared for by all the team. I live in Australia and can only visit occasionally, so it is a great comfort to know she is so well cared for. Inevitably her health is declining but this has made no difference to the care
- and love - she is shown. My thanks to everyone at Edgehill.

Care homes are not all the same. Mum loved living at Lansdowne Hill for almost fifteen years, aside from a couple of years at another care home that was, frankly, lacklustre in comparison. Her experiences truly highlighted how exceptional Lansdowne Hill is. The staff at Lansdowne Hill are remarkable.
From her key carer to the team leader, now deputy manager, and the many managers she had during her stay, everyone genuinely cared for her and loved her. The carers do so much thankless work, and I cannot express enough gratitude for their dedication and kindness. Although Mum often moaned about the food, she absolutely adored the chef, who made sure to learn her preferences and prepared the meals she liked. That kind of personal attention made all the difference. The team's communication with families is excellent - they keep you informed, listen to your concerns, and always take requests seriously. Over the years the love and care they showed our mum never wavered. Thank you, Lansdowne Hill, for being such a wonderful and compassionate place. We will always be grateful for the incredible care you gave to our mum.

My mother-in-law recently moved into this care home and she has already settled in well. The staff are friendly and very welcoming we are always asked if we want to know anything and the staff are always happy to help. Mum moved into Edgehill Care Home after a period of illness, since moving in she has smiled again and is happy to be in Edgehill. The staff are brilliant can answer any questions we have, and look after mum brilliantly. The overall standards of cleanliness, care, food and activities are second to none.
Members of the family attended a BBQ with entertainment it was outstanding.

I have been so impressed with Edgehill Care Home since my dad has been there for some respite. The home always has a calm, relaxed and contented feel to it. The staff are always approachable and show such kindness and empathy with residents on an individual basis. The food cannot be faulted the meals
are to a high standard and there are plenty of cups of tea and snacks available. Residents are kept busy and there are lots of activities/games to keep them entertained, stimulated and engaged. What is most important to us as a family is knowing that dad is safe and well cared for and the compassion and genuine fondness are shown in abundance by staff. I cannot thank all at Edgehill enough for everything they do in what is a very difficult and challenging job. The staff at Edgehill should be very proud of the service they provide.

My great-grandad was treated extremely well at Edgehill Care Home. The staff are warm and kind and management helped with any queries I had. The only nice things we say about the home and the staff. My gran moved in just before Christmas and she has improved so much since being at Edgehill. She enjoyed the company of the other residents and she always enjoys the activities. The staff are always working hard and she has settled in really well. It's such a relief for the family knowing she is well
looked after and we are now considering Grandad moving in too!
